One of my most favourite of sayings is "how do you get my dad to move faster? Stick a redcoat with a large group of butlin guests behind him heading towards the same train as the one we're boarding at Minehead." Lol Yes that actually happened we were heading towards the train at Minehead down the platform and a large group with a Butlins redcoat guiding them towards the train. I've never seen my father move so fast haha. Shame Minehead isn't in operation at the min.

It's a pity about traffic thundering past as a background for trains climbing out of Bishops L, isn't it. Not much you can do about it though, except hold up a sign to traffic saying "Stop now, please" as the train approaches 😬

It's inconvenient, but as you say, there's not much you can do, short of hoping there's a gap in the traffic.
