The instructions in this video apply to pretty much every Trainz simulator version since 2006. The operation of Surveyor has not really changed much over the years. I am using Trainz 2012, and it is virtually the same as 2006. That's cool because you don't have to re-learn a new interface with every new version of the simulator. Once you know it, you are good to go.

TS12 SP1 finally has a freaking straighten spline tool instead of forcing us to go to the track-tool to straighten splines. Honestly in a decade and a half I'm surprised they still hadn't added that.

You must go to the Edit session rules. Then click add. After that find schedule rule. Finally you click the schedule rule and click edit. Now use trackmarks or Stations to make the schedule.

How do I make 4 lane roads that have cars actually USE all four lanes? I've seen the video bnsf50 made but it didn't do me much good. Considering I'm trying to get back on track (no pun intended) after leaving Trainz for two-three years or something like that this is not easy. Although I don't think I've EVER figured out this issue come to think of it.....

Hi, I got Trainz 2006. I want to add a hill so the train goes up the hill then crosses a bridge. I want to add this to one of the maps that came with the game. Can you make a video how this is done from a flat surface going up and creating a gap for the bridge. thanks

Tunnels are fairly simple, if you have the UKBL "Westwood Tunnel Pack". It's just a mater of assembling them (though curved Tunnels can be tricky).

Can someone plz help me? i was Working on my own Track on the Editor so called Surveyor and i spend awful lot of time on it...but i had a few weeks ago a Pc issue so i had to Format it but luckily i saved the whole directory of the Game called "Backup". When i Re installed the Game again i wanted to continue to Work on? my Track and i tried to copy that directory in the Game directory but i can't see or find my File on the Game when i go to the Surveyor. P.s Sorry for my English

Hi N3vgames. Im writing this comment because i cant seem to figure out how the Download station works. My problem atm is GS-4. I download it and in the Download station it has no errors. But when i load the game it glows red and doesnt want to spawn. Someone please help me since i really want to run that train :)

Easy, go to auran.com then to the store,buy the program,not expensive,then download and save to harddrive,be sure to use good broadband connection as is a large file.Hope this helps

Reasons why Railworks is better, 1. It is more detailed 2.you have more of a variety of grasses 3. you can buy it from walmart for 20 bucks 4. you can have bigger tracks

Go to where it says “track objects” and look for “track end” or “buffers” or something related to them and place them on the end of a track like a siding or a wye, a section of track used to turn a locomotive around without having to use a turntable.

@luciferminusone Unfortunately most trains (in my country at least) do not have a 'cruise control' system in real life and it is nearly impossible to get them to travel at constant speeds so drivers tend to go on and off the throttle to keep at a reasonable speed. Because of this its only natural that 'realistic mode' follows this too.

umm what? No.. the model needs to be ingame in order to use it. There is no game that generates 3D models from satelite scans. If we could do that we would already have made a whole 1 to 1 virtual Earth.....
