Trainz TRS19 - USRA 2-8-2 Light Mikado

Trainz TRS19.
On December 26, 1917, President Wilson put the US rail network under government control through a new agency - the United States Railway Administration (USRA).
Under the USRA, 1,830 standard locomotives were produced. The 2-8-2-A Light Mikado was the most common, with 625 examples produced under the USRA's control. After the USRA was disbanded, most of the USRA designs were heavily copied, with some 5,107 copies being produced between all 12 designs. Originals and copies of the 2-8-2-A operated until the end of steam on most railroads.
Ben Neal has gifted a highly customisable USRA Light Mikado to the Trainz community. Ben's mesh allows features like the whistle, bell and headlight position to be altered to one of several attachment points. There is a selection of front pilots (with and without cow catchers), air reservoirs, air compressors, and rear trucks. There is an attachment point for a feedwater heater above the smoke box.
Four variations of the locomotive are shown in the video. These models are by jacksonbarno and can be downloaded from the Trainz Forge web site.
Ben's model also incorporates a locomotive crew that face the direction of travel, an animated bell, and animated brake rigging. These features are shown in the video. Notice the way the brakes release as the brake cylinder pressure (BC in the HUD, bottom right) falls to zero.
