thanks! definitely keep doing them and try to make them as perfect as possible. try backflips and this trick as well. i hope you have your basics! tuck, straddle, front and back drops, etc etc. always try to find new (safe) ways to challenge yourself!

yes you can! this is not a beginner skill and thats why i emphasize that you solidify your basics before trying this skill. although, once you get it, its super easy and lots of fun to do

whatever is more comfortable for you. i just prefer this arm placement for cody's and such skills like that. i will be going over cody's in the near future... ;)

nothing can beat fear except for you. people can help, but ultimately, you have to feel safe enough to attempt it again. try going to a gym or having a friend learn to spot and help each other. fear is a mental barrier that only you can triumph... i can only give you advice on how to go about doing that

use your arms to push off the trampoline. if you are starting to learn cody's, work on getting good lift off your front drop, and with a straight body, transition to your backdrop. does that make sense? so: lazyback -> straight body -> back drop [pullover] when you feel you have enough height and power, you commit to your cody. it should be pretty easy. just scary

yes i can! but i'm sticking to trampoline tutorials. there are so many backflip tutorials out there, that it doesn't seem logical to make a video for it. plenty of good ones and its a lot of work to make these vids. i appreciate you asking for more content though!

you need to make sure that you are landing correctly in your front drop position. you may be to far forward or backward and causing yourself to scorpion. practice your front drops until they are solid without the flip. then do it with the 3/4 backflip afterwards

These kinda hurt my back. I've got a decent front drop with near perfect control going forward, but I'm honestly terrified of trampolines and learning things takes forever. I committed to these after a bit of thinking about it and landed them fairly easily, but it kinked my back a bit and didn't feel very controlled. Tips on timing perhaps?

+Bobby Orwig if you have an unflexible back, this trick could definitely tweak it quite easily. you may have to work on that range of motion but also be 100% sure that you can nail that position every time. super solid front drops first. then you can flip or twist to them no problem

last time i tried landing on the front my back bent alot and hurt my spine. What did i do wrong?

+SoMuchSwag you might have been too high up on your chest, or too low on your hips. this skill takes a lot of precision to avoid injury. just work your front drops until you can do them from any height with no complications.

You are landing with your chest up. Land flat on your chest with your hands in front of your face. Make a loos triangle with your thumbs and fingers but with enough room for your nose. Make sure your chest lands flat as not to arch your back.

haha well don't hold your legs so tight together and that should give you enough space down there to avoid that haha. good luck with this one my friend. it is one of my favorites

ummm... well, i guess i'll make you a quick personal how to video when i get a chance. i can't explain it properly through text. but its all about getting the right push, and committing to your flip. i'll try to get that out to you by next week

drill the front drop position. you should have those 100% perfect before trying the 3/4 back flip. you will need lots of confidence in your front drop before backflipping to it. remember to open and relax your body while protecting your face as you hit the tramp. if you tense up, you can easily hurt yourself and that would be bad.

would you mind elaborating? in which direction are your legs kicking up? if they are hitting the trampoline then this could cause problems. remember, this should not hurt. if it does, you should take a step back and drill your foundation. get back to me with some more detail on why its happening, or if you figured it out.

How do u get the height when u lifting from your stomach, all my height dissapear and i really wanna do a cody, i can allrdy do double flips and so but i can't do a cody :(

ah that sucks that you don't have access to a trampoline. try looking up local gymnastics academies and see if they offer open gym. thanks for watching!

technically this skill is a combo. part of a backflip and then front drop. but i know what you mean

Okay so that means you need to work on your front drops. Put your hands in front of your face (create a loose triangle with your thumbs and fingers but don't touch them, have room for your nose) as you land and make sure your chest lands flat on the bed. What I think is happening to you is that you are arching your back as you land, that can cause serious damage to your back!!!.

well, can't really tell what exactly is happening just by a few words of text. but if you are rotating, then you might be scared to commit. try landing on some pillows or a futon matress

I'm able to commit I'm just landing on my upper chest area first then the back of my body slams down

That mean you are chest heavy. You drop your chest as you land. Ideally as you land you should be looking straight ahead of you and not at the center of the bed. Pick a spot on the trampolines padding and focus on that as you land. Let me know if that helps.

landing wrong, bouncing wrong. you have to land perfectly on your stomach. relaxed but in control.

Hi you need to control your neck, a technique to use is to focus on a specific spot of padding in front of you as you land. Also you might tend to look back as you flip and then whip your head forward when you land, to correct this you need to keep your head looking directly straight forward as you flip.

you need to practice your front drops more. this is not a beginner skill and you should not try it until you have complete control over your backflips and frontdrops more importantly
