Wow amazing , I get such a buzz out of fault finding that I don’t need drugs or alcohol. We worked among a similar set up at work using Trane chiller that also had a trend system monitoring the set up as well and had numerous issues over the years. As the usual system goes they had a boiler man & an electrician who looked after the plant with contractors that was a closed shop with management which was annoying. But I always turn the negative to positive & with my hunger read books looked on the internet KZbin and did college courses lot of negative comments even from my manager saying you can’t learn refrigeration from a book and so on. As an electrician I had alway desired to get into controls. A good inspiring video.

Good find. Another reason I like the ifm electronic flow switches. They don't make them paddle types like they use too.

Recently, I graduated from the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program at Fortis Institute, Forty Fort, Pennsylvania. I’m certified as EPA 608 Universal. Currently, I searching and looking for a job opportunity. How I can become a Chiller technician. Understand that experience is an essential part of a good professional. I am willing to be lifelong learning to keep up to date with the industry.

I prefer DP flow switch’s with a pump interlock. Flow switch’s have a high failure rate in my experience.

I have a experience that the flow switch jammed to flow position, the chiller keep running even the flow rate is low. The chiller model in my site is Trane CGCM, it hasn't any protection for the low flow cut out and evaporator freezing. At the result the evaporator is freeze up and damage it.

I switched from paddle style flow switches to transducer style switches. Can you tell me what your opinion is as far as pros and cons?

Would 4 years as a supermarket refrigeration technician have any value in the industrial chiller field? I’ve been super interested in working with chillers since i got out of HVAC/R school about 5 or 6 years ago and I don’t really know where to take my first step to go down that path. Supermarket refrigeration is pretty much my first job in the HVAC/R field. Haven’t done any install or residential really. Any advice would be much appreciated, and I’m really diggin’ your videos along with HVACR VIDEOS. You guys are both doing some really great work, thanks again.
