Re: The peeing thing. I know a few cis men who sit to pee. No need to feel like this makes anyone think you're trans. I know ZERO men who think about the sound of peeing and whether it sounds like a man or not. Any guy I've talked to about this acts like I sprouted a new head. It's 1000% not something you ever have to worry about.

See I know this is so true but it never changes the anxiousness I feel in the stall while cis men are shittin and fartin next to me without a care in the world.
@tyghe_brightАй бұрын
@@HRTeaPodcast I totally get that. Anxiety is rude like that. Never listens to our logical brain.

One bonus of being an old greybearded transguy is half the cisguys my age have prostate issues & their urologists have suggested they sit to urinate in order to fully empty their bladders. I admit I'm a bit smug strolling out of stalls these days with my bad back hobble & my cane. 😂

Everyone has Adams apples. Apparently it can be more prominent in people with higher testosterone. But even then, results vary by individual.

Yep, like Megan Fox, literally one of the most beautiful women in the mainstream, and she has a noticible Adam's apple

On the topic of names I went through several names trying to pick one that wasn't "too trans". I do wish we made fun of trans guys less for that, but at least Corey seems to suit me pretty well And for the shoe stuff, my parents and friends used to joke about how huge my shoes were and call them clown shoes, and I could never find cute shoes in my size. I'm a men's 8 / women's 10 (au sizing). Now I'm a man nobody comments on them at all,and all of the men's shoes come in my size.I was also super tall as a 5'8 girl and now I have girls come onto me at the bar by saying they love short kings. I'm gay so I don't reciprocate, but it's weird how that stuff changes when you do. Also trans people, a pair of classic chuck taylors will save your life. Gender neutral, on trend, comfy as hell, go with everything. Nobody will question a man or a woman in a pair of chucks. and yes, they come in your size
@dancingdyspraxicfairyАй бұрын
can we find chucks in a 4.5?
@Clover-juiceАй бұрын
@dancingdyspraxicfairy they don't do half sizes but they go as low as a men's 3/womens 5
@Clover-juiceАй бұрын
@dancingdyspraxicfairy they go as low as men's 3/womens 5. They don't do half sizes but they do have a larger fit, so I'd recommend trying a size 4 on in store They also have kids sizes that look identical to the adult ones. I can't speak on their quality though

I've been buying men's shoes since I started playing soccer. Luckily for me I'm an 8 in men's and 40 EUR. Also: Amazon is great for shoes.

Names among the trans community would be a lot more diverse if: - transmascs stopped picking nouns; - transfems stopped picking Lily (+ variations on Lily); - and enby people stopped using the letter X. We all have our naming stereotypes, mate. At least we can hopefully agree on celebrities being worse at it than we are?

There are an awful lot of Elliotts around as well.

Oh my god, considering my cat shares the name of a polycule member. Yep, transwomen's cat names are transmen names. So damn hard to find good shoes.

Im 7.5 shoe size and I don't usually have issues finding shoes. I also generally go higer in size for winter boots and tracking. Also, just stumbled upon your channel, this video is great!

I transitioned at 42yo (ftm) & over the course of 7yrs went from wearing US m 7.5 (w9.5) to US m10.5 (w12.5) which everyone assures me is impossible. Riiiight.

That Barbie/Jack Twist meme is SO dark if you think about it; him or Ennis del Mar. Either way, it's giving lots of raised neck hair. Especially in 2025 USA
