0:57 this but also I knew who I was as a woman, and I knew how life worked as a woman, I knew how the general path of my life would go if I were a woman so even though I wanted nothing to do with being a woman it was a familiar thing. It was also difficult to see myself being a man for a lot of reasons, like constantly getting deadnamed and misgendered, and sometimes not even being able to see myself as a full adult because I didn't think I would ever get that far but also because I was surrounded by very country Christen cis men and knew I wasn't like them and it took me a while to accept that I wasn't and didn't have to be them.

They think of gender as absolute. For them to feel not gay, every part of an AFAB person has to be absolutely feminine at it's core and every part of an AMAB person has to be absolutely masculine at it's core. But in the real world, all men look like women and all women look like men.

Fellow trans guy here. Do not come out to your family if you’re afraid you might be at risk (like if you might get hurt etc), when you come out try and explain the trans experience for you (this could help them to be more accepting and understanding.) Try educating them about your identity, stuff like that. And sorry if I sound like an idiot, I am horrible at explaining things. But, I’m glad you want to come out, this is a pretty big deal (in most cases), also, sorry if I sound like I’m babying you or anything.

When I came out, I was also super nervous and wasn't able to talk out loud to actually come out. So, what I did is I wrote a letter to my parents explaining my gender, name and pronouns and I added a bit at the end asking to be left alone for the rest of the night, to have time to calm down. Make sure to have stuff ready to calm you down after too. Mine was binging my favourite show and bringing a bag of chips up to my room so I didn't have to leave if I got hungry. It's tough to come out, but I believe in you. Just make sure you're in a safe and accepting environment. Good luck bro!

You can 100% just be a crossdresser! Dressing up like that doesn't automatically make you trans. The main difference is that cis people don't get dysphoria. If you don't feel genuine discomfort in your body and just like feminine clothes/makeup, you're not trans.
