@@demonia2848 TikTok is a platform that's full of creeps and weird people and stupid content, so it doesn't surprise me. But when some people allegedly from the LGBTQ community are doing that sh*t, it's made to look they're the only ones and that it's way worse. These tiktoks are are bad, dont get me wrong. But sadly, many times someone conservative is trying to justify their intolerance, it's these tiktoks that they show. At least that's what I've experienced. That's just wrong, you can't judge a whole group of people by TikTok videos. ^^

Hey hey, I was born in 84 , raised in the 90s in Dallas TX, and was in a circus family from Colombia, believe me when I say that I've seen this stuff my whole life. And what I remember from the 90s was all the "phobia' talk wasn't around! It's crazy, of course there were "weirdos" and "freaks" ( I was one of them) but there wasn't a push for anything, to normalize it. It isn't normal, in the circus, there wasn't a lot of normal shit going on. Nowadays Its too much trying to force people to accept or not accept a lifestyle, I figure just leave people alone. The 90s were dope, like your content. Take care.

The labeling is to make them feel inclusive because they are "Transgender" everyone must do a cartwheel for them. Celebrate yourself, you are the only one that matters. But for many everyone else must be labeled😕😕😕, yes, whatever happened to the fun times where a Man could put on s dress or a woman could dress more masculine and it was just him or her having fun. The #TransPoliticalBullies have made it about their agenda, nothing about the true journey of true Transgender Teens/Young Adults and Adults.

It would certainly make sense to at least attempt other forms of treatment before undergoing this procedure. Patients need to have ALL the information about the procedure as well as complications or possible outcomes of this surgery. It's very hard to cure a mental health issue with a physical surgery. Alot of times the dismorphia remains afterwards. I know many people who have had wonderful results and it has made a very signifigant change in their lives. But I know more who did not get the solution they expected. The fact that we have gotten to the point where these surgeries are done with such a minimal evaluation or without attempts at other types of treatment first is insane. These are people's lives that are completely changed sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse.

You are right about the 80's. I was a teenager and the 'gender bending' was radical. Men could dress in a way considered feminine, and women in a masculine way. We fought gender stereotypes and homophobia. I fear we have gone backwards, and it has to change. As quite a masculine presenting woman, I actually worry that people will think I'm a trans man, or ask me my pronouns.

I grew up in the 80s. We didn't care if people were straight, gay, lesbian, or bi. Listening to The Communards or Erasure wasn't frowned upon because the tunes were banging! As long as you weren't a dickhead, you were good. I knew a couple of people who were like 'I'm gay!' And the rest of us were like 'Oh, OK', and they looked shocked that it wasn't a Big Deal. Oh, and everyone could take a joke. Everyone took the Mickey out of everyone else and everyone laughed because we all knew there was no malice.

Was a teenager in the 80s, it was gender bender or queer, now I get called a transphobe. ln my local by an obvious transtrender... I never transitioned because of being dominantly hetero and very much enjoy my reel female company, but unlike this trender guy, I can still pull it off. Got a lot of laughs from the locals when he called me a transphobe, this trender had no idea I was there earlier sat at the bar and went home and changed for one of my lady friends who turned up. Called me a transphobe because i said ''no homo''.... I hate being touched by men as a trans female, and strangers(men) when i'm just straight male. Forever pre-op because I can't have my cake and eat it.

The unnecessary labels to box EVERYTHING wasn't around even in the 2000s in the lgbt community. You could call yourself androgynous and not confirm to gender stereotypes without the need to be nonbinary or transmasc/ transfemme and "trigender"🤦🏻‍♀️. You could just be queer and reserved with sex, without the need to be "demisexual, demiromantic" or "ace- gynoromantic". Neoqueers really are so "concerned" with "fighting against gender norms" that they're making entire sub categories to box themselves into and pretend it's "liberation". 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm in my mid 30s, and I remember when myself and my queer and trans friends were outraged over the "tumblerqueers" starting to use neopronouns and making a mockery of the binary trans experience. The actual trans community was angry that their need to transition wirhin the gender binary was being insulted by the "nonbinary" as trans!!! It was well known in the late 2000s that those people existed solely on tumbler along with furries and otherkin. They weren't taken seriously in LGBT spaces. But this was also around the time that being marginalized and oppressed became social currency instead of something to actually fix.

It'll be after the next global war. Trans dogma is a symptom of decadence. Something that has been afforded to Us by the peace we've been able to maintain. But after the next real war, people will no longer have the luxury entertaining this nonsense. People will only have time and energy to put into rebuilding society, there will be a wide rejection of this along with anything that runs counter to that.

@zephsmith3499
@zephsmith3499 Жыл бұрын
I too really hope so. The problem is that this ideology has become institutionalized in many places - there are people in charge today whose power and status (and sometimes finances) would be badly impacted if this craze ends. Both specifically having power around this issue (eg: somebody working in the gender affirmation industry) and people who just more broadly benefit from or are deeply invested in Critical Social Justice (CSJ) ideology and thus must support queer theory and gender ideology as a component of that (eg: a diversity officer). In many companies, non-profits, and professional organizations there is some kind of social justice committee (it could be called that or diversity etc) to which these issues are deferred, and the committee is usually populated with the most ideologically invested people who live and breath the ideology. Anybody not "on board" who tried to join the committee will be hounded out. So something like a professional organization for Chemistry can issue statements deeply infused with CSJ ideology, from such a committee - and people who just want to focus on chemistry don't have much incentive to make it their life's work to counter such a committee, especially since it would probably ruin their career doing what they care about. Basically, I'm saying that the ideology takes on a life of its own inside institutions, via mechanisms which are not subject to democratic control from the members of the organization. They can go against the popular will, and harm anybody who falls out of line. If candidates for the organization's "diversity committee" were elected (and re-elected) by the membership to that position, it would be far easier to oust them. But that's almost never the case. TL;DR: It's hard for sane individuals with a regular life to counter zealots who obsessively seek power and who band together to keep it. Just losing popularity is not enough to remove entrenched interests, it take an active counter-attack, which few ordinary people want to mount.

My best friend in high school had short hair and wore baggy clothes and she said several times that she wished she'd been born a boy, mostly because she didn't like being seen as feminine. Three years later in college, she became more confident, grew her hair out and started dressing more feminine. She now has two daughters. That was in the early 2000s. If that was today, she probably would have been encouraged to transition and wouldn't have been able to have children.

This could be my story fortunately I was a tom boy back in the 1960s , I wanted to be a boy, depression, anxiety oldest child and parents who rowed a lot and dragged me in, a mother telling me to lie, grew up with secrets and lies, secrets I still not completely remember. I believed if I was male I could protect my little sister better and could stand up to my mum more. To be a boy back then I would not have to cut my hair, male rock stars had lovely long hair. In my early teens I discovered being female was actually quite nice and I was mostly happy as I was, and quite happy with my shape, especially my long legs. But I am concerned if I was a young person today would have ended up transitioning , which would have been wrong for me. Though back in the 60s and 70s girls could be Tom boys, boys could wear dresses and make up no questions, we all had dressing up boxes. Rubbish mother I might have had but nobody said 'your a girl play with dolls', I played with cars. My sister a girly girl, played with dolls loved babies me the opposite, me hated dolls and babies, yet I'm the one who got married and had children. Look at the music then The Kinks ' Lola', Dave Bowie's ' Rebel, Rebel '. Mick Jagger wore Marianne Faithfuls dress at the Hyde Park corner gig in memory of Brian Jones. Things were loose no one cared, no labels you were not this or that you were you. So in my 60s I am female, but still occasional get my boy days, Though wonder how much is due to my physical disabilities, damaged spinal cord ( rear ended by an idiot in a car ), and osteoarthritis suddenly come on in my knee and hip, plus depression and anxiety, changing who I am is all that stands between me being able to go out the front door. We should all be free to be who we want to be, but children should not be given these drugs to change who they are, as it might not be who they really are. We don't let kids get tattoos until 18, or drink until 18 in the UK ( 21 in USA ) or drive a car, vote be sterilised etc because they are not old enough to comprehend their decisions so how can they be able to fully comprehend what the drugs will do. Let them go through puberty, males could then get sperm frozen or women eggs stored so if they do change gender they could still have biological children through surrogacy . I believe once upon a time to change sex you had to have lots of psycho therapy to be sure that you really were born in the wrong body and did not have some other psychological problem, The medical profession are in many cases not doing their job properly and those would do get labeled anti trans and the backlash against them is really bad. Live and let live and stop putting label's on people, and don't push your beliefs on other people, be kind and support those who ask for help and remember it might not be body dimorphism but other mental health issues that need help.

Who on earth could believe this person is capable of “informed consent”? Some medical people should NOT be working in the field, let alone with vulnerable patients like this one. They sell an unattainable ideal, a pipe dream & leave these mentally & physically damaged people to deal with the aftermath. Then, if for some reason the person decides to detransition, the “community” condemns them! Tragic, the whole debacle.

I saw that. I saw that deeply. I’m a nurse, I worked on a floor where we would occasionally have gender affirming surgeries. One of them was just like this. She/he signed the consent to have m2f surgery, had the surgery, came back to the floor, and then the next morning started screaming in terror. Several of us came running down the hallway and burst through the door, afraid that maybe his sutures burst open. There was blood everywhere, but it was because he had been trying to search for his former penis, which had been removed (obviously). She/he started screaming that we took his manhood and that he was a man, and we explained that he had elected to have the surgery. He replied with, “but I thought it was just going to be tucked in!” The nurse on the shift before me CLEARLY heard the physician explaining the surgery in detail to this patient.

Sweetie it was so nice to see your video. I’m a 70 yo lady. I grew up when being a woman was second class. My lot in life was to go to college, get a degree, teach until I got married or even after. I chose a different path. I dropped out of college after two years. I got interested in equal rights, both for people of color and for women. I experienced loads of sexual harassment in the 70s and 80s, even a bit in the 90s. After that I had an issue with some men at work who didn’t feel a woman should supervise men. I fought hard as a woman and I’m glad I did. Things have changed a lot. But now I am seeing such disgusting things that I feel women are being attacked. I see trans women who make a mockery of womanhood with their stereotypical mannerisms. It is mo different than the attitudes men have had forever about women. They are ditsy, shopaholics, liars, cry babies, flaunting their bodies, and so on and so forth. It is disgusting to see people who say they love women so want to be a woman and they portray women this way. THAT IS NOT US! I am thankful I’m old and will die soon if this is how our world is becoming. I fought too hard for womanhood to sit by and see this farce. As much as I can't stand people calling themselves nonbinary, I will still say that it is your right! I don't care what you want to do to yourself, call yourself, and how you want to live your life as so long as you're not infringing on other people's rights or pushing yourself onto others. And not just you personally but in general. But the biggest reason why it annoys me more than anything is because when you call yourself nonbinary, you're saying that women can't like masculine things or lean in the masculine direction, or for men, be feminine. According to nonbinaries, they feel that way because they think that gendered stereotypes are being pushed on them. For females, little girls playing with dolls, wearing dresses and what not. But that's not the case at all. You can be a female and still like football. Still like army men. Back in my day, these girls were called tomboys. We weren't nonbinary. So why can't you just say that you're a tomboy? Because otherwise, you think very stereotypically because you're basically saying that girls only like girl things and boys only like boy things. So to me, calling oneself nonbinary is utterly ridiculous because there's no law, nothing written in stone, that little girls have to be feminine and little boys have to be masculine. They can be the opposite and still be the sex they were born as. This whole nonbinary thing just really gets under my skin. Again, call yourself what you want, I'm just trying to understand the thought process behind it because to me, it's illogical based on what I have mentioned.

No one is non- binary dear. It isnt a logical label and it doesn't serve a purpose other that being trendy. It's impossible as humans to be " non binary". Anyone can call themselves that of course, but its not true or accurate because it's impossible.

I’m 13 but when I was younger (6-9 years old) I was a tomboy. I would go play in the mud, have nerf wars, cod, etc. I still do all of those things today (except for the mud) but now I dress way more feminine so I don’t see myself as a tomboy anymore. But if I still dressed how I did even just a couple years ago, people would probably insist that I’m trans and need to go on puberty blockers. I’ve always been “one of the boys” but I like being a girl at the same time. Also, I’m living proof that you could grow out of being a trans kid. I used to hate dresses and skirts and having long hair, but now I love all of these things! I could go from playing black ops 3 (the best cod) to sewing a dress within the same hour and I love that about me. Not that sewing is a strictly feminine thing, but it’s definitely something more feminine than masculine.

You are very smart for a 13 year old. I was/am a tomboy (now in my 50s). I really worry that if I was a child now I would have questioned my own identity simply because it seems that if you don't fit into the traditional woman role then you must, at the very least, be non-binary. This is actually going against what women have been fighting for, for generations. It is giving in to what society expects. We should, instead, be fighting for a change in how society sees what women should feel like, or what a male should feel like. If I feel a certain way, and I am a female, then obviously it must be a genuine female feeling/interest. Of course, this is different to genuine body dysmorphia where someone feels uncomfortable in the body they were born in, like Marcus Dib. That is why his message is SO important. Keep being strong, keep being you!

It gets very strange if you (politely, quietly) visit the online spaces where young people go to discuss their identity questions. There are lots of questions like "I thought I was XXX but then I discovered I'm really YYYY, except that I feel ZZZ at times, so maybe I'm really a combination of ZZZZ and AAA, is that right? How can I tell?". I sympathize and I'm glad I didn't grow up in that subculture today. The idea that one might just be a human, of a certain biological sex, and with certain traits which may or may not be typical, just isn't offered to them. Their social context has them trying to define themselves through the intersection of a set of changing group stereotypes, rather than as individuals with individual traits. Rather than being, say, a girl who doesn't want to jump into sex right away, they can identify as a "demi-girl". If you just say you don't went to get into sex until you have an emotional connection, that can be criticized as prudish and unhip. But if it's part of your sacred _identity_, other people in the group are at least *supposed to* honor that. After all, identities are based on (supposedly) naming what you already "are" and thus cannot choose or be criticized for, rather than being a choice (like about when you have interest in sex). It's a way of reframing things which TBH feels very disempowering, even tho it's sold as the opposite. But if you are young and going through all the difficulties, and that's what everybody else is doing....

All I’ve ever wanted was for people to be their authentic selves and be accepted for who they are. In the last 3 months the amount of upsetting things being said about biological women has broken me. It’s affected my self esteem. It was a rabbit hole I wish I never fell down into. Another thing that’s upsetting and I’m sorry to piss anyone off but I saw where a girl asked someone in the comments to stop referring to her as Cis and that she just wanted to be called a woman and that trans person got so offended. Why is it that what she wants to be called isn’t respected ? Trans women want all the respect of proper terminology but not give that respect back? They want to be thought of as a real woman but then go and out themselves by trashing biological women. I’m just lost and I hate that the some of the very people who claim they want unity and acceptance are the very people putting others down.

I want to say thank you for taking the time to explain the difference in some of the terms like "transexual" and "transgender" and what they really mean. Not these obscure umbrella terms I hear so often. I also want to say thank you for explaining what it really means to be trans and your thoughts on transitioning children, the new "woke" religious community, and how you understand your condition and what that means in reality, for you, and the rest of society. You are very well spoken and not afraid to call out those that have taken your condition and identity on as a new trend. You have said what so many of us conservatives feel. You honestly make more sense than most of these other social justice warriors and trans activists and I am able to respect you so much for that. Keep the videos coming.

I see pride events full of sexual references, innuendo, inappropriate attire and I want nothing to do with it. I think if I were to grow up today with my aversion to anything sexual, there is a good chance that people would try to label me transgender. I didn't want periods, I hated the idea of getting breasts, but it wasn't because I thought I was a boy. It's possible for someone going through puberty to be uncomfortable with their body. It doesn't mean everyone who feels that way is transgender. Now that I am in my mid 30's, I am comfortable with myself. I like dresses and I don't feel the pressure to try and fit in with my peers. I realize that I am not attracted to people in the way most are and that doesn't bother me. Seeing what ideas are being pushed unto kid's these days grieves my heart.

I've always thought having a different sense of self-expression doesn't make you anything other than what you are and it sucks. I have an 8 year old boy who loves pink and rainbows. Everything else about him is very male, and he does not seem to be bothered that he is a boy. The best thing we as parents can do for our children is give them a strong sense of self, and affirm that they are exactly as they were meant to be and that they are awesome. My son picked out a pink coat and sparkly pink backpack for 2nd grade. I told him that a lot of people think those are girl things but it is okay to like what he likes, and no matter what someone likes there will be someone else who has something bad to say about it. He decided to get them and be true to himself. I asked him at a later time how it was going with them and he said that sometimes people say something but he doesn’t care. And now his classmates just accept him as the boy who likes pink. I am fully prepared to have to remind him that his liking pink doesn’t mean that there was some mistake, and he is exactly how he was meant to be. If someone tries to use that as a reason to suggest he might have been supposed to be a girl, I will knock their teeth out. Give your children a strong sense of self and acceptance. It is the best weapon we have, and the most important gift we can give our children.

I am 52, I raised my two sons to believe they could be whom ever they wished. My youngest has Auspergers and when he was working through his identity issues people kept telling him he needed to define his gender and he felt really pushed to have a label. Because he felt fluid they kept pushing him to believe he was transgender and so he came out as trans to me, to his grandparents and his biological father as well as his step father. I never judge my children and gave him a few months before sitting down with him and talking to him about identity and what it means, then asked him to explain to me how he came to 'the choice', he explained the journey and I asked him, when you wake up in the morning how do you feel.. he told me, sometimes he feels more masculine, other days more feminine, so I asked him, so you feel like "his name", he said yes, but dont I have to choose a label for that, I told him no, he is who he is, why does there need to be a label for that, if you want to dress feminine one day and masculine the next, does that need to have a label? he told me no, I then asked him, does he feel like he is female all the time, he told me no, and that he really felt cornered about making the choice to be trans because he felt so fluid and people pressured him to make a choice. I told him to tell them to fuck off, just be who he is, what ever that is on that day, Identity is his choice and doesnt need a label, its not about being a gender, its about who he is as a person. He did, he now calls himself his name and realised it was about accepting himself for who he was as a person, not as some sexual identity or label, but if he wants to wear a dress on a day or pants, he does so, its not about changing his body or anything else about who he is, its just about self acceptance of himself as a person. Loving who he is and telling people that their opinions are theirs. He no longer has that weight on his shoulders and is finally secure as a bisexual biological man who dresses how he pleases on any given day, and sometimes he is more masculine, and some days he is more feminine, and he is doing great.

I'm 37, when I was in high-school I help found my schools LGBTQ alliance. there were a LOT of bi, bi curious and gays and lesbians. We didn't really have any TQ at that time in the burbs where I lived. At least that I know of. But when we'd all get together outside of school we'd trade clothes or try on each other's wardrobes and it was just good fun. There wasn't really lables. We used to figure out our identity by trial and error and while we did most of us called ourselves bi or bi curious. Many of those kids are straight as adults, some of us are not. I still think I could have easily wound up with a woman but was always more drawn to men. Now I would be labeled as a turf or anti trans or whatever for my belief that children shouldn't undergo medical transitioning until their bodies and minds had finished developing. Yesterday I spoke to a woman who works at the local children's hospitals. She said that women's bodies stop maturing in their mid teens while boys sometimes into their mid twenties. She also agreed that haulting that biological progress with medications might have harmful effects that we just don't know the scope of yet. She herself has a niece who is 12 who believes she might be a lesbian and a friends niece who might be trans. The family has agreed to not make a big deal of it and allow the girls to just be who they're meant to be naturally without putting labels on it. In some states in the US and in Canada this family would be punished legally for not encouraging their daughters to transition. I dont hold any of my beliefs in being cautious over trans women in women's spaces and children transitioning lightly. And the bottom line is I 100% support any adults life journey, but I draw the line at kids because the medical reprocessing are unknown and the mental health data just does not back up that transitioning actually helps many of these kids and teens to feel better about who they are. I would love to bend your ear sometime about the history of identity politics in Germany and how what is happening right now could be used against people in the future of our crazy world much the same way it was in your local history. It is my greatest fear that social media and identity politics will be used someday to harm people who publicly and readily announce their identities to the world on large platforms. Anyway... wow that was a lot. I so appreciate your videos and perspective and just know that I love and support you in every way.

That trans holding a bear is a grifter. Yes they're actually trans, but everything else is performative. Look at their older tiktoks, they act completely normal. They first tried making cat videos, that didn't bring much views. Then they tried claiming to be vegan and making cooking videos, but they often used regular cheese or non-vegan foods, so that didn't work. Then they started talking about bottom surgery and that got people's attention. To ride that momentum, they tried claiming to be a "revert" Muslim, yet as a former Muslim myself I can tell they're full of it. Now they're claiming to be autistic with an anxiety-induced speech impediment. They never spoke like this before, the grift is so obvious. They are completely normal in the head, but just like anyone tryna get online famous, they're trying to use sensationalist content to build a following. My point here is that the medical establishment authorized a HEALTHY person to get bottom surgery, so let's stop criticizing Drs who DO know better - mind you, this is IF in fact this person really ever got bottom surgery. I highly doubtbit. Most likely just another lie among many.

These vocal trans activists are the insecure teens of yesterday but with keyboard warrior skills. It’s all posturing for clout but what they don’t realise is their social standing is directly inverse to the dead bodies under them. It’s not a victimless status as they are doing actual harm to kids who are going through the usual teenage anxiety and depression that is a rite of passage and completely normal

When I was a kid my dad was in an amateur dramatics society and one time he dressed as Amanda Lear. He had my mom's swimsuit on, my P.E. skirt a wig, hat and stilettos. I thought it was hilarious. Nobody questioned his masculinity they just commented that he looked great in fish nets with heels🤣

As a child my son had a part in spoof Christmas play of Cinderella, he played fairy Nuff, leotard, tutu, wig and great big workman's boots. Everyone thought it was hilarious and had a great time laughing at his and the two other fairy's antics, played by two other boys. Couldn't do it today as to many people would take offence, seems the day's of innocent p taking are long gone.

@@JadeEyes1Nah. I'm not overly religious, but conservative. I love Boy George and loved David Bowie and Pete Burns. Gay people don't bother me. It's the labeling and the almost forceful push by the trans people that you must support their choices that bothers me. The trans bottom surgery sounds more like torture, especially the male-to-female surgery, and because that vagina is basically an open wound, the lengths that the person has to go through to keep that viable sounds more like torture than something that should be recommended medically. Surgical procedures to remove healthy tissue and organs is just dangerous and a huge infection risk.

Gosh. That reminds me of this time my boyfriend insisted on taking me to a gay bar to prove something- not sure what. We were sitting there and this broken brown eyed beautiful man looks me in the eye with such sadness I just wanted to cry and he says "Do you know what you want? " And, I did. I wanted to grab him by the hand and run until we had gotten clear away from whatever made him look that way. Yet, I could not. It's been about 24 years, I guess, and the look in his eye still breaks my heart.

A lot of people will get defensive over the term mentally unstable like it's an insult. It's just a fact and that person needs help, not medication to mutilate himself.

I feel that some trans people act out as caricatures of the sex they are trying present as because they feel that’s what being a man or woman is rather than all the new ones that goes with it
@dudeorduuude5211

This is why I think some Trans folks should be questioned. If they are born in the wrong body, they should resonate and embody the other sex's mannerisms, no? I suppose some of it is the awkward phase of living differently. But some Trans folks just exude the gender they are trying to be, where others it comes across as the dollar store version or a mockery or fetish.
