I actually flew to Frankfurt on Singapore Airlines, and I was simply blown away. Couldn't agree with Luke more. The entire crew travels through the airport to the plane together, and they look as sharp and crisp as seen on their ads. And the service deserves a "Chef's kiss".

Etihad gives good value for domestic AA flights where you need a connection. Better that Qantas for shorter flights but thier cancellation policy stinks so best for last minute flights

Hey calby, I have barely seen any KZbinr mention this sweet spot: Iberia only charges 36.25k+$25ish for economy from New York to HKG, I just got it for 28k + $25 given the 30% transfer bonus from AMEX. And there is $15 back at HKG if you leave Hong Kong the same day without entering the city. Easy 3+ CPP on economy flights 🎉

I have no issues with this tier listing except how high Hyatt gets placed on here. I’ve stayed at multiple Hyatt properties and unless you’re a true Globalist they could care less about you. Nonetheless, as a transfer partner they are (B) in my book due to their award chart. KLM is (S) tier in my book; I have gotten some sweet redemptions over the last two years with that program.

I think Air Canada is overrated ... at least for me. Why? They very, very rarely have more than 2 seats on their own metal for under 100K business. I searched the entire months of June & July 2025 for any airport in US or Canada to Europe. How many flights did they have on their own metal for under 100K per seat (I'm taking the actual transatlantic leg)? ZERO! You can get some funky other airline like Egypt-Air from Toronto to Detroit to Cairo to Zurich for 70K with 4 seats occasionally. But none of their stuff practically works if you travel with more than 2 people.

I'm not sure it's fair to compare the hotel partners to the airline partners. No hotel program can provide value equal to a business class ticket; some can't even match an economy ticket.

Thank you so much for taking my crazy request and making it a reality! I appreciate the efforts you went to bring in Luke, and even rank the lesser known international transfer partners. My personal S Tier partners are Air Canada Aeroplan, Alaska Mileage Plan, and American AAdvantage (previous Bilt transfer). Those tick all the boxes for international business sweet spots, versatility, low taxes, and easy website. This was a great list, and I agree with these rankings! I feel B/C tier are programs with expanded award availability on their own flights, but not necessarily high CPP (Singapore, Emirates, EVA Air, Turkish, United). And D tier have

I’m not exactly sure what I said about Cathay but the same BA flight booked with Asia Miles should cost around $250 vs $900+ with BA. So I think my point was it’s a great alternative.

Calby did you get Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card. Which Delta card do you recommend with new high offers.
@CalbyNgАй бұрын
Unfortunately not yet; I missed out on the high 100k offer or 90k offer and the limited edition design. So decided I might go for the Venture X this year. As for my personal picks for Delta cards, for sure Delta Platinum isn’t bad when it has that 90k offer (this is the one I got my parents to sign up for) or the Delta Reserve when it has the 100k offer. Very easy to get value out of those cards due to the companion passes. Everything else (the credits) is just extra. Delta gold is good to pick up for the first year and downgrade it to the Delta Blue ($0 AF). Score a 70k welcome offer or a mixture of a statement credit if you pretend to check out for a flight on Delta

Thanks for the heads up about Asia Miles to BA! Brings taxes to a little under $400 each way, still not the best but for sure more palatable if wanting to fly BA. Also I've found one really good use case for Jet Blue: you can book Qsuites from USA to Qatar for 70-80k with no surcharges, and the availability is better than any other partner.
