@IAmR1ch2 жыл бұрын
If Enhance does too much. Click on masking and choose mask AI. It will isolate the sky, water, landscape, mountains, ect into different areas. Choose on or more areas and apply enhance only to that area or multiple areas exuding the ones you don't want to effect. This can help in not applying the effect to one area or another.

I use my Intel i7-9750H CPU 16.0 GB ram with 6 cores 12 thread laptop. This is a 3 year old laptop. Laptops are slow and I see no problems with performance. I use On1 and open neo as a plug in so both programs are running at the same time. I see no performance problems. I would guess my older 4 core 8 thread laptop would be a little slower. What processor and ram are you running? If it doesn't have at least 4 core 8 thread processor and 16gb of ram it is time to come into the 21st century and buy a new computer.
@thegroove20002 жыл бұрын
@@IAmR1ch that's strange. I have 16g a 9th gen I7. With now browser open and minimal running background apps and also allocated the nvidia gpu to the horse work separate to the intel and still having performance issues. I'm not the only one. Many others also hare having issues with good specced systems..

@@thegroove2000 What performance issues are you seeing, slow downs, lock ups, if you run other programs like another photo editor at the same time does it have problems as well? My laptop has an RTX 2070 which should not make a difference but more importantly it has an nvme drive. I like to leave tabs open like 50 of them in the browser, it will sometimes use up 5 gb of ram in task manager. In that case in I can see performance slowdowns. It will show multiple instances of firefox. I will end task on one and it shuts them all down. Then work with images. If I need the browser up, I do a recover previous session. It does not use up memory the memory unless I go to each tab and view it. If I only view one tab (to watch a piximperfect tutorial) then firefox uses very little memory. If between On1, Neo, and Firefox I use up over 80 percent of my memory in task manager I will see slowdowns from windows using the swap file to swap out memory to the hard drive. At that point I will see stalls and not be able open new programs or push sliders in Neo/On1, that is not a problem with Neo. You better be using NVME hard drive or you will get super slowdowns and and super long lockups especially if windows is using the swap file with over 90 percent of memory used. So do you have an NVME hard drive? Or do you have an Sata3 ssd hard drive or a spinning HDD? If no nvme drive, that is your problem and no amount of processing power is going to help you. What exactly do you see? Do you open task manager to see what the possible bottleneck is in your system (is memory usage high? I cpu usage high? Does it show the hard drive 100 percent?) because I don't think it is Neo causing the problem and no update is going to fix it.

Art of photography is getting lost over technology. Photography is supposed to be used to document, tell story, record moments and create art. The only problem I see is the unnatural look this technology brings, it's unrealistic.

I went from lightroom to luminar 4 then back to lightroom. for me it was more reliable and has added functions that luminar did not. the storage is a big deal for me and the ability to work on multiple and mobile devices. Neo looks cool. maybe one day I'll try luminar again.
