You have to gain more exhaust note if your having that work done or just replace the tail pipe but saying that still top of the leader board nice job 😎

Perhaps a leader board should also look to compare a real world test like 30-70mph to remove traction disadvantages and give a realistic look at how fast a car is. Gives a comparison between all cars then also

@Purnizzle watch later in the video and I realised this and changed it. Slow car leader board was changed to 200bhp and under and 0-60 only (as let's face it this one is for fun and giggles) the 200bhp to 400bhp list is 30 to 100mph! To do exactly that rule out traction disadvantages off the line.

Will a car/van pass an mot with a back box delete?

Good question, it's actually a little bit of a grey area, And the answer isn't straight forward. On this vehicle you can see it didn't make any difference to sound and the exhaust gasses are coming out the back just like factory so yes this would pass no problem as there's no reason for rejection for a backbox delete if the noise isnt excessive and theres no leaks. However if we backbox delete say a 2.0tfsi mk6 golf so petrol turbo this would make a substantial difference to noise levels, so this is where it's a grey area and testers discretion as such as the MOT manual says "Exhaust noise from the vehicle must not be unreasonably above the noise level you’d expect from a similar vehicle with a standard silencer in average condition"

@NAWFABZ Thanks for the reply. I'm a sparky and drive a VW Caddy 1.9 TDI, nothing fancy, but would like the exhaust to sound A bit louder, or a bit more sporty if you catch my drift, what would you recommend, the van is a 2010 BLS Engine if it makes any difference, thanks. 🤓👍

Mines mapped gt tdi, hybrid turbo and intercooler, 220 bhp, will out pull a golf gti mk7 😁

Sadly no i do not have a mandrel bender. They are huge and cost as much as a house. I don't have the money nor the space so make do with what I have and still do a damn good job. For cars that require mandrel quality I simply use mandrel bends and cut and welds them.
