Sometimes I got real jelly of these kinda vids. He got injured when attempting his first full planche. I got injured for my left wrist even when doing a normal damn easy handstand on parallettes. What's worse, my right shoulder has infringement problem, which means I even have difficulty training the most basic advanced tuck planche. And I'm fucking short, like 5' 5, the height most people in this field would despise because they feel like it's cheating. Let me tell you, NO. It is all about your genes. Of course height does matter. BUT GENES DO MORE!! I've been training my planche for at least 3 years and got stuck on my advanced tuck planche for almost a year and a half for the reasons mentioned above. I've tried so many things, e.g. special wrist warmups, flexibility enhancement, you name it, but to no avail. Every attempt was just like a cul-de-sac. I still keep getting the same injuries again and again. My routine is pretty much Training-Injury-Recovery, cycle that. Basically my whole planche journey so far is nothing but getting injured repeatedly. It is very distressing. Some people argue that you should train smart, not hard. But how if that only applies to talented/ gifted people? Don't get me wrong tho, I do like the vid, it is very inspiring indeed! Congrats to your comeback and full planche progress!! That sense of achievement must feel awesome.

Becouse u shouldnt start learning the planche before u have a good basic streangth, its recomended to have around 15 chinups, 25 dips, 5 hspu and 15 sec backlever. And if u have that u can do a tuck planche easy…
@evening_sw
@evening_sw 2 жыл бұрын
Because its easy if you have basics. You shouldnt be trying planche when you cant do a tuck , you should do handstand pushups, dips etc and when you're decent at them then the tuck planche comes by itself
