I loved Goldbug and that was my first Bumblebee and my second was shinny as hell G2 version.

They did poor bumblebee dirty when doing his firepower stat. If I never watched the show as a child I’d get the impression that he’s firing cybertronian blanks at the decepticons. The show version that came after made him much stronger

My very first transformer was the TFA Activators bumblebee. Not only is it a big reason why I have such a soft spot for Bee, but the activator was heavily based on the original G1 toy! In addition I finally got a G1 bee today, and he’s just as fun as I imagined he would be. ☺️

The nostalgia is real! I never actually grew up when Gen 1 was introduced. But when I was 6, I was introduced to the G1 Cartoon thanks to my dad, and eventually I really wanted the original G1 Model Bumblebee for years. Unfortunately, because all the official Reproductions are hard to come by where I live. Since me and my dad also had a knack for Car Modelling, as a birthday present when I became 7, me and my dad collaborated, and using Custom molds and joints, and Modifying parts of a Shiny Gold Painted VW Beetle Model my dad left rotting in his basement, we converted it into a custom G1 Style Bumblebee. And now, 9 years later, after forgetting about it for years, I found it when cleaning out my old closet, and me and my dad spent some of our quarantine time restoring it. We also made a Custom G1 Style Optimus Prime the same way we did with Bee, so I'm currently also hoping I come across it when cleaning more of my old closet out. I also dug up my 25th Anniversary DVD set of the G1 Cartoon and am binging that up too

I was never a big fan of the Autobots. But Bumblebee was featured in so many of the original episodes, that he became my favorite Autobot, ever! Me & my brother's had all of the minibots as kids. But Bumblebee was certainly my favorite! Because he was an arrogant rulebreaker who disliked authority. Grimlock became my 2nd favorite on the good robots side. I never was a huge Optimus Prime fan. Specifically because he was always giving a head whupping to my favorite Deception of all-time, Megatron. Lol

I never had Bee as a kid, I got my hands on him years ago with the book reissue series, you know the one's i mean? in the white box? anyway he was in there with 5 of his friends, for me Huffer and Bee are the best toys in that pack.

Great Review I really want to win Bumblebeee nickname are Bee & Beeper Bumblebee by voice Dan Gilvezan (1984-1986) he did come back to voice Bumblebee again on Transformers Devastation (2015) the Video Game what did you know about Bumblebee is when the writers room thinking which Autobots is going be Befriended for human teenager Spike Witwicky is was going to be Hound but they change it to Bumblebee to be a good Friend Spike and few month later after Transformers The Movie he is the only season 1 Autobots Character that survive in the Movie so we did Bumblebee come back for season 3 still voice by Dan Gilvezan but later ended of season 3 2 Part Episode The Return of Optimus Prime bumblebee got Rebuilt to Goldbug

Bumblebee wasn't the only Season 1 character to survive the movie, Jazz and Cliffjumper did as well. Jazz's voice actor passed away but he still made appearances. Cliffjumper's voice actor quit for personal reasons during season 3.

The original battlemask Bumblebee, I am so used to the Bay movies (as I grew up with them), that it's weird to see it as a Volkswagen Beetle instead of a Camaro. Still, I have been learning a lot about G1 lately, so I know a bit about Bumblebee's original version. As this is the original version, it's kinda loose, and it has the classic easy transformation (in his case: pull arms out, pull legs out and lift them, open the little plate at the top, and there he is). Note: I am not natively English, so it may have some spelling errors.
