As a Transformers fan since G1 and the 90’s era, this movie makes me really happy to see Elita One get more focused and action. Scarlet Johansson fits perfectly for the character like she did with Black widow. I hope our favorite female Autobot lives longer in surviving the upcoming Autobot-Decepticon Civil War in future sequels. The only animated show where Elita one I know alive with Optimus Prime is in Earthspark. None of us want Orion/Optimus to suffered like he is in Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy Netflix series.

Yeah, it's usually Arcee that's on the screens. We hardly ever got anything from Elita-1 until recently. It is a mild annoyance that she didn't start out as Ariel the same as Optimus started as Orion Pax. But honestly, I can live with it. Most people are gonna recognize Elita-1 over Ariel anyways unless they're avid Transformers fans going deep into the history of everything in it, or know someone else who is. However those who are avid fans are predicting her death in the possible sequel(s)...Which after doing some digging, is very possible, not only possible, but probable. I know it's a Bayverse thing, but I would rather B's voicebox get ripped out making Megatron irredeemable, than Elita-1 die for the same effect (Though arguably more impactful). Regardless though, I am excited for what's to come.

I've been a casual fan of Transformers, I watched Beast Wars back in the day, got into the first Transformers movie later on, and really liked Transformers Animated. But I've always wondered what the true origins of how the Autobots and Decepticons came to be, since many franchises and characters can have different versions of their past. Transformers One delivered on that, and D-16's face-heel turn into Megatron was shocking but understandable, even though we all know that he's gonna end up as a villain

I loved this movie. Seen it four times, actually. Twice with my pops, once with my brother, and then one more time on the final showing a couple days ago with my friend. Probably the best piece of TF media IMHO. This is the transformers that I have been waiting for ever since I was a kid.

This movie is awesome! It’s a big love letter to the franchise while also making it feel like a new irritation of the story. I do hope we get a sequel because Josh Cooley does have plans for a follow up. Also, to answer your question for that character analysis, I’m gonna say Megatron.

I love Transformers, however when I saw the first trailer I instantly dismissed the movie. I've never seen such a horrific trailer, it doesn't reflect the movie at all. It was only because of its amazing reviews that I decided to try it and I was expecting the worst, but found a rather good movie that while having some problems left me rather satisfied at the end.

@@carlosrodrigoaguirre1788 Its not that there was 'silly humor,' the trailer was pretty much ENTIRELY jokes, like I think they just compiled almost every joke in the movie and used it for the trailer and they put it over with terrible music choice. The trailer shows a movie that is a 'wacky fun adventure' meanwhile the movie, while having light heated moments, is about rebellling against a dictator that made his people into slaves.

Brian Tyree Henry really out did himself with his incredible performance and his deep understanding of Megatron since always wanted to play the villains. Every villain is a hero of his and her own Story. D-16 is not only a product of Cybertron’s corrupted system and takes on Sentinel Prime’s oppression though violent means all the social injustices he had experiences forged his transcendence into Megatron and building up to a rivalry with Orion turned Optimus Prime (due to wanting the same goal of a unified Cybertron but have different viewpoints). But their friendship is doomed since they discovered that shocking realization their leader Sentinel Prime had sold out Cybertron to the Quintessons after betraying his fellow Prime brothers and sisters, and ruled his planet through oppression. D-16 has put too much faith in the system he has held on to until his worldview was shattered that boils up to anger and a personal vengeance after being suffered of the social injustices while Orion still kept his optimism by exposing the truth of Sentinel's corruption. This what makes D-16 a much more of a compelling hero-turned-villain and tragic character in Transformers history. And the rift between two brothers. Both D-16 and Orion really wanted a unified Cybertron but each have different ways to bringing it into fruition.

I Guess The Only Thing That I'm Kinda Mixed On Is B127, Some Of He Jokes Can Be Kinda Tad,But I'm Not Complaining To The Voice Actor Keegan Michael Key, But It Is Made For A General Audience And Support To Made The Young Kids Laugh. I'm tired of hearing people going "buh buh buh the first teaser blah blah blah" If you didn't hear about the movie, weren't looking forward to it, or weren't able to go see it, that's fine, and those are all valid reasons. But if you purposefully ignored this movie because the first teaser scared you away and you continued ignoring it despite all the positive feedback it got, you missed out on peak, and I pity you.
