In my opinion, the Paramount era is the best era for DreamWorks. The Fox era was good too

I agree that DreamWorks is definitely one of the more creative animation studios. While I enjoyed The Wild Robot, I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece or the best animated movie of the year. For me Inside Out 2 is better. As for DreamWorks recent films, I really liked The Bad Guys, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, I thought Trolls Band Together was mid, and I hated Kung Fu Panda 4.

Guys, has anyone thought that the island in the season one into kinda looks like the collectors head from TOH? What if it's a fallen archivists?

I'd like to think this scene started a ripple effect in Disney's way of thinking recently. Like they're slowly but surely realizing that thier movies and shows don't really need to shove the LBGTQ+ message down our throats in order for it to be good. I was worried that people would hate it becasue of the 'Mount Crushmoor' scene, where it hinted that Riley had a crush on Val. But now I see that Sudelty is key and not 'Overdoing it'. I read in an article that they WERE going to make Reily openly lesbian. But in mid-production, Disney actually grew a pair and put it foot down and said to tone it down! And I think from the success of this movie, Disney is beginning to understand where it's been going wrong. Like after this, they came out with Deadpool and Wolverine, also a hit! And it seems like Moana 2 is set to spell a comeback for Disney! I may be too optimistic(I've always loved Disney and always will), but I hope that in the future, they'll return back to their roots and take back their spot at number one!

What should it fucking matter? The Amazing Digital Circus is a horrible show. No one should like it that fucking show whatsoever.

Personally, the anime-inspired artstyle of TOH puts it leagues above Amphibia, which looks like another one of those Family Guy type shows just by looking at it

In my opinion,Pixar is still an amazing studio(as a kid,I prefered the studio than Disney),maybe because how their movies puts some heart and good plot on it. In my opinion,Soul is my favorite of the recent movies of the studio that isn't a sequel (so Inside Out 2 don't count),while Turning Red is the least good of the recent movies for me

As a Pokemon fan, thank you. Nostalgia-ridden fans have led to the iterations on iterations of Charizard/Gengar/Dragonite/Lucario getting all the attention when actually a lot of us just want to have some love for a new region. Nostalgia-ridden fans endlessly complain about the new designs and ignore that Gen 1 had a seal called Seel and a pigeon named Pidgey. Nostalgia-ridden fans will constantly go on about how much “simpler” it was then and how it’s all so complex now and blah blah blah. We get it, you miss your childhood, now grow up and let’s explore Paldea together.

You're missing a key point as too why nostalgia is so strong nowadays today's entertainment is horrendous 90% of the time. Nostalgia would be niche if modern day entertainment wasn't so bland/bad that simple . But I 100% agree with your premise

I'm only excited for Zootopia 2 and the inclusion of reptiles killed a little of the hype for me. At least it's the one that has more chances to be actually good, since it's directors are pretty much the only ones that haven't made something bad.

This had to be said. I loathe when people say indie animation will overtake mainstream animation when in reality what they need to do is form an alliance with the mainstream businesses. For instance, A24 is allowed to showcase their films in Hollywood’s theaters, while The Amazing Digital Circus is shown on Netflix. It also requires, like you said, unionizing and the mainstream companies giving in to change.

You’re right lately I have stop being nostalgic for a good amount reasons and one of the reasons is, is that if you’re too nostalgic to even letting go of the past and moving on, it literally stops you from growing up and maturing later on in life. Now I’m sure you could be nostalgic for certain amount things but don’t hold on to nostalgia like it’s the last thing you have because it will still be there when you’re old enough to look back on the past and that’s why I just simply let it go.
