@@rinkuhero It depends on the coffee. I worked in coffee for years back in college at a few different spots and to this day I'm only taking coffee black if it's actual good coffee (which tends to be expensive). As someone who came from nearly where Josh started, the biggest thing I can say is make a conscious decision to cut out the added sugar. When I did that I went from 230lbs to 185 without any considerations of calories. When you don't eat processed sugar, your body is very good at telling you when you've eaten enough food. Energy levels get higher, mental health improvements were crazy. Anxiety basically entirely went away. Brain fog was gone too. The best part is when you're off of sugar, EVERYTHING else starts tasting better. I used to hate vegetables and now I crave them. 8 months in and I'm probably the healthiest I've ever been, just from cutting that one evil ingredient

Does that include protein bars?
@ChirsSmedely11 ай бұрын
@@alignbyaudrey I try to avoid them generally, but I do eat them from time to time if I'm low on protein that day. Added sugar is added sugar, and any liquid fruits count as well. I don't do 0 added sugar because it's difficult to sustain but I try to average 10g or less of added sugars per day, and it is literally life changing compared to my old lifestyle where if I added it up I was probably 1-200g per day quite often. The physical health improvements are great but for me the majority of why I stick to this is mental health. Anxiety/depression issues creep back in full force every single time I have a massive sugar intake like a large serving of cake on vacation. I'd be willing to bet a large portion of this generation's mental health issues are due to the normalized ultra processed food diet in North America, or at least the issues are significantly enhanced by food

@@ChirsSmedelywow this comment really opened my eyes. My diets not horrible but I have a thing for sugar and have dealt with anxiety and depression for 10+ years now. Wish I knew this when I was younger

You're not exagerrating by calling it evil... processed sugar is literally metabolized like poison, almost exactly the same as alcohol ffs... and we just shovel it in kid's mouths since they get off breastfeeding
@ChirsSmedely11 ай бұрын
@@sandramay1 I hope it helps you get better! I used to be miserable and anxious all the time, now I'm the opposite and feel passionate about making my body last as long as possible. Sugar is addictive though so don't feel discouraged when it's difficult to get off of. Even yesterday I had a huge sugar intake at a friend's kid's birthday party and then I was miserable the whole night once I got home. The dopamine rollercoaster is not a fun ride

So much of what this man was saying felt like it was coming out of my own head. The not fat just looks unhealthy and does not love yourself enough to do it just for u. These were all things I was experiencing myself until my little girl was born. Hope this dude sticks with it and keeps on the grind. He's off to a great start stay strong my friend.

One of the only influencers who always beams positivity. I always come out of your videos with a smile, including this one. Best of luck to Josh on his fitness journey, can't wait to see him blow his original training numbers outta the park!

This is good shit Will, the editing etc, this is prime time worthy, I wouldn't doubt if you got picked up a result of this kind of vid. Josh is the real deal, heart of gold, wish him the best, cheers.

THIS IS CONTENT. This is why I watch Will's channel. Keep it up man!

I am so happy to see this. Honestly, I stumbled on Will's videos and instantly got hooked. I was at 280 LBS in August, lost 40 LBS by November, and then the holidays hit. I just started my diet again this week so far I'm down 6 LBS but I'm trying to get down to 210. Only 28 LBS to go!! I will be keeping up with Josh's journey to compare us. We are very similar as far as the gym goes so if Will is giving him these goals I'm going to use them for myself as well. I know you can do it man keep your head up!
