I've organized this garage 1000 times, but THIS time I'm doing something special. Because I've been spending so much time in there painting, building, creating, and sanding, I decided to create a super girly workshop so that I have a cute space to work on all my DIY projects.

You could paint the garage wall black and the pink for the pegboard. Also, you need an island workbench on wheels for you guys to do the work on instead of the ground. The work jumpsuit is a FANTASTIC project that looks good!! 🎉CONGRATULATIONS ZOE🎉

Agreed! I think a black wall would add much better contrast for recording purposes instead of a pink wall with pink jumpsuits. But I totally understand the economic decision of using up the pink paint they already have

Love your videos.❤❤❤ Here are some ideas as you asked😊😊😊: 1) THE FLOOR: I would get paint and paint the whole floor out and it could be interesting... it could be swirls it could be a pattern, IT COULD EVEN HAVE YOUR NAME AND THE NAME/GRAPHIC OF YOUR COMPANIE'S LOGO, it can be whatever you want but then put polyurethane over the top so it'll Gleam; it'll look like marble! That's if you wanted to have the aesthetics. IF YOU HAVE MORE PINK PAINT. THE FLOOR CAN BE PINK WITH BLACK ACCENTS EVEN DOTS OF DIFFERENT SHADES OF PINK SO YOU GET MORE TEXTURE MIXED IN WITH A LITTLE BLACK. My business partner is an architect and she suggested it to me when we were going to purchase a space in New York that had concrete floors and I was going" poo poo🥴 " and I thought the floors weren't fancy enough and I was like oh no! She was like Rob we can paint those floors even though they're made of concrete and they can look like anything you want them to look like.🤩 2) I keep feeling that the garage needs to be sectioned off in thirds: 1/3 the carport 1/3 the work space, and the last third your filming space. I see that on the wall that you put the pink (pegboard wall) in your storyboard there's an area there that can become a filming wall it doesn't need a lot of space. 3. Regarding the wooden sign, there are a lot of vendors on Etsy that do this and it's very inexpensive. You could compare the cost of materials and see if it comes out better for you to make it or to just let them do it. The same with the light- up signs. You can actually send them the fonts that you want and they'll do it for you. 4. Each area or zone that I spoke about could be divided by a simple ceiling to floor curtain; or you know those walls that people put up that look like window panes- they allow the I to move so it doesn't look heavy in the room but it sets up a sort of a mental "New addition room" feel. it literally can be put on a track on the ceiling and pulled across with a curtain in front of it when you want to film or when you want to be separated from the other areas. In watching your videos I see that you're very highly organized internet when you can look at something and not have all of the other visual clutter you really shine. That's why I suggested breaking the garage up into zones so that you don't have to see the other ends when you're not working. I am a visual person also but I'm a director so I'm used to looking at a stage area or looking at a place and saying "okay how do we organize these zones and then let the actors work within those zones." It looks great! Just FYI the cricut maker comes with a fabric blade included if you do more fabric projects in the future. I also think you should add your name to the front with iron-on vinyl (at least on yours) it would look really cute

Yes on the floors. Let it be art like you. On corners you leave the needle down in the material and turn the material the way you want it to go. So, you lift the foot up, leave needle down fabric, turn the fabric way you want to go, put the foot back down, sew.

I love the hand stitching best. If you need it immediately and don't have time to hand stitch, go with the machine. However, if you have time, hand stitch. What a great team you two make! :)

Hi Raven! Try using a free motion foot on your machine to do the rest of the embroidery. It basically allows you to move the fabric freely while sewing. All the best! 37:56

also for the logo, I think Zoey's idea sounds great tbh, you could use a projector to trace the font on plywood and customize it to however you want your letters to be in then use an electric saw to cut out the letters

Coming from an engineering girly, you can use a plastic tacklebox with multiple compartments or a mini tabletop drawer for the nails and screws organization. Under the peg board you can get a metal storage cabinet (like the ones in woodworking shops) to store smaller tools , batteries, cords, etc.. It can also work as a table top with wheels if you can find one with that configuration so that way you have a multi use table!

This Grandma loves your creativity and drive to get it done. Suggestions: a shop vac and paint it pink. A fancy hand sander and table saw with the vacuum attached, save your lungs. Portable paint tent. Ceiling heater and industrial fan. Dip all your tool handles in pink stuff to identify as yours. Fancy garage floor is for your next home when you have a separate metal bldg for all of your DIY, complete storage on property, and your own custom, deluxe craft dream box. And some sewing machine sponsor needs to gift you an embroidery sewing machine.

Something you may have already thought about but not mentioned is building close to electrical outlets. Extension cords will work but it will look so sleek if there are enough outlets for most of your tools. Happy Building!

You could try dark pink puff paint to outline your letters. Super easy to use and it works great on fabric and is machine washable. They look great so far! I do like the hand stitched one tho! Great job you guys!!!

Love how the garage reorg is coming along. You've got a good plan for using the space. Might I suggest your first workshop project to be making a 2-sided panel to hide and protect the utility/hvac parts in the corner? You can leave one side and the top open for repairs or airflow but the panels would also protect those important parts from saw dust and flying bits and bobs. Can't wait to see the finished project! Oh and I vote for machine stitching and RETV Workshop above the peg board!
