It's called irony dear. Frankly, I support anyone who goes through a sex change. I have a couple of close friends who are experiencing it and have shared how difficult that process is, not only from the inside but also when you have to do it under the scrutiny of society. My comment was directed towards that talk show, which to me is basically tacky sensationalism at it finest. Who wants to talk about their private parts on tv for an hour special? The production probably financed her operation to get an exclusive on her story and attract viewing figures. The whole idea is very intrusive and objectifying. I think the prayer Isis' mom said before the surgery was utterly sad and telling. I appreciate Isis' journey and the real struggle of being transgender. However, no matter the human and or the genitalia, prayer is about seeking wisdom and comfort. It's selfish to pray for your own will to be done, like God is a vending machine and you're seeking your own desires. Shouldn't prayer be changing the prayer, not the god being worshipped? It just seemed completely misunderstood and self-centered a think to say.
