Every Lovecraft inspired game's objective = Release the Chulthu

@themarlboromandalorian4 жыл бұрын
Well...releasing old ones and elder gods...yeah. It's basically always been the objective. It's like in any sandbox game. You complete everything and run out of main quests and side quests but the game keeps going...so you decide to just go kill everything because you already own everything, collected everything, learned every skill and it's the only thing left. Thing of it is...releasing the elder gods is the end result. And there are many of us who find no pleasure in the goings ons of mere mortals. I had a dream once. In it, I found my soulmate. I experienced an eternity of pure and true love/ecstasy in mere moments. And after, I realised, due to the pressing matters at hand, we had no time for happily ever after. We had the objective of survival. Love isn't enough comrades. There is no right or wrong. No good/evil dichotomy. There is only what can and cannot be done. Do... Do not... There's no reason for any of it. Might as well burn it all. Oh that we were only animals...to coexist harmoniously with our environment...but the dragons taught us greed by proxy, and now we are damned to want. Woe to the people. Væ victis
@nBaqi4 жыл бұрын
@@themarlboromandalorian I won't argue with anyone on this matter, because H.P Lovecraft's work is always about anthropocentrism.
