First boss in Transistor, Sybil. Song is called "In Circles" Must admit this game is art to me like Bastion was.

Sybil's boss fight for me is an incredible highlight for the game, especially when you learn about Sybil later in the game. The song's being played in this scene is almost like Red and Sybil both singing while they fight.

Honestly, I can't imagine this fight played worse if you were nailed to a cross, blindfolded, and playing with your teeth. You've got a bar full of functions that would all be better suited for use, but you just hammer Crash() and pointlessly heal yourself constantly on weeds. I'll just assume you were stumbling drunk and distracted by dat soundtrack. Mmmm, dat soundtrack....

1.what other method of healing would he have? he seems he just started or is on a fresh save 2.Crash is a stun ability, and it took me til i fought The Spine to realise that breach had better damage output

you wouldn't have to heal if you time your moves correctly. Each time I beat Sybil, I never healed myself.

@@Toastmaster_5000 Beach doesn't have "better damage output" per se. It's all about combining and using positional and tactical advantages. Crash followed by breach is the better choice. But even more optimised is crash followed by multiple Haunts with breach added to it an an update (60*1.5 damage for 90 cost), which is what I did in my first playthrough. The game gives you all the numbers you need, clearly stating the damage and cost and also mentioning that crash has a "damage vulnerability" effect.

Love the game and this boss fight sequence, but the extremely bad gameplay choices you made were really hard to watch. At least use jaunt to move longer distances during turn() instead of walking. Combining the functions, (Jaunt + Breach for turn or Crash + Jaunt for active) is the way to play here. And you constantly letting Sybil heal up was also cringe-worthy.
