I absolutely love my transx. I use it on the big descents only. Which here in Chattanooga, can be quite a few. I like it best my singlespeed 29er and my old gary fisher. Easy to move back and forth. No frills. Just like these 2 bikes. On my my higher builds...cable droppers. This transx has lasted for 2 years so far. No problem.

I honestly have to say that I don't understand why people would buy this. A dropper without a remote is almost useless in most riding scenarios

On a mountain bike 100% agree. However I think it's pretty reasonable on a gravel bike

My fiance and I share my Trek Crockett 54cm. The difference in our heights is just enough to constantly move the seatpost up and down. With this it'll take away all that unnecessary loosening the clamp
