Do you ever lose traps from rats pulling your traps down the hole? Here I gotta pull some of the wet material out to seal up the plug i put back in the hole or the pushups freeze solid over night. Great informative video for sure. I love rat trapping!

how are you keeping the traps from going down the hole?
@TrappingIncTV9 жыл бұрын
+Brion Stone There is an ice shelf inside the push up that I set the trap on.

I see you use the sleepy creek 1.5 longs. I tried the 1.5 sleepy longs and had nothing but problems. I much prefer the 1.5 blake & lamb.

+nathan belanger I DON'T like them, they are junk out of the box. Each one has been taken apart and tuned until they work they way they should. I just like the big 1 1/2 trap for weight. I've never heard of blake and lamb. I'll check them out.

Why are you using a 1 1/2 for rats? Around here we use 1's or 110 conabearers . I know its different all over Im just wondering
@TrappingIncTV9 жыл бұрын
+Skeets K For the extra weight. These are drowning sets and smaller traps aren't heavy enough sometimes.

+Skeets K Not tryin to offend you but I think you are missing the boat using #1s and not 1.5s.

I see you're using a board rather than a wire stretcher. What are the benefits you see on the board? Thanks, I've been enjoying your videos!

+Cory Barz I cover that on episode 1 of this year's season. Short answer is it is also my fleshing beam.

They have to if there is ice and the pond is big enough. Small ponds they don't have to.
