That tip of using snow to dry the beaver works great. Love watching all the new episodes. I can't wait for the new trapping season to start.

God, I love your videos! The editing everything is just AWESOME! I can't stop watching! I trapped when I was younger in Northern Maine, however, I joined the Navy and went to college and time never allowed me to have a full-time line so I'll live vicariously through you guys...lol!! You and your wife make the best team I've seen on TV or the Net. You guys aren't talking over one another all the time and you have a great sense of humor always chuckling about something!!

For us the shows are easy because we are just videoing our life. We have lived like this together for 38 years this fall!

Trapping is hard work ( small statement but BIG lotta work over 40 since my first trap hit the ground ) , gotta love it to be at it Imo especially now with the prices so low. I gave up my beaver line last year a total waste of time now with smaller pelts as low as 3 bucks. We have a registered beaver line here on the rock, Newfoundland. This season I will be taking only the better priced pelts as dictated on the last few sales and try to break even hopefully> No easy task just keeping your trails open; same here as well, no seismic lines. Great video love the content watch them to the end.........cheers to yas

to cold for critters t move??? not sure about that comment

Any of the weasel family other than otter will shut it down in the extreme cold and head for their food cache to wait it out. Other fur like wolves and cats still move.

sorry nt being critical. I snare coyotes in mb and you are right they move in fridgid weather like now.

Yes you are right. Cold is great for coyotes! The context of the comment was made in reference to the marten and fisher line we were on. It was a tough check!
