Wonderful story, Casey! Ah, the joys and passions of youth! I paused at the first Meadowbrook picture to savor it a bit. Yep, there's the car, and Young Putsch in full geek mode, with the cuffed, cream trou, and HAIR ... but what really cracked me up was the dubious look on the mazard of the mid-fifties guy standing to his left. I mean, he's a very official Meadowbrook official or something, and he SO doesn't get it. Too cool!

I remember that weekend. The rain on half the track (2005 I think) was pure chaos. A lot of the cars had dry tires when they went out and they figured out that it was getting very wet very fast in spots. Lowe's Corner workers had their work cut out for him that day. LOL
