The funniest version of the "I know a place" and it's super mainstream is when Tom Hiddleston said he knew a unique place to get great food in America and it turned out it was like Chilis or something

Joey used perspiring correctly, Connor was wrong. Perspirating also isn’t a word like Garnt thought.

Not that it matters, but he didn't use it correctly. Perspiration is not an extreme form of sweating. It's a synonym.

The thing is, Anthony Bourdain LOVED Vietnam. You could tell in his shows... he was always very good whenever he visited another country but he would visit Vietnam and go on long, loving monologues about Vietnam every single time. It was clearly one of his favorites if not his actual favorite country to visit. RIP. Also love that the boy are talking about these Thai statues when there's a restaurant chain here that has genitalia for decor. Seriously, have yall been to Chinese Cafe Eight? They have places in Shinjuku, Roppongi, Ebisu.... I went to one that had a giant d*** you could ring a certain shaped bell with..........

AX has routinely become a shit show....especially in terms of crowd control/organization. Don't really understand it considering SDCC is bigger and yet they RARELY have any issues with the crowds!

Agree. SDCC was my first con ever and I was completely shocked when I went to my first AX. The way they controlled the lines was just, horrendous. So many of the employees also didn’t seem to understand what was going on

I remember having this “I know a place” story. One of my roommates was a foreign exchange student from Austria. He was telling me he went on a date and was brought to this super fancy Italian restaurant full of a large variety of innovative cuisine never heard of in Austria. And with the quality and quantity to match. He claimed it was the best Italian food he’s ever had. Brother went to Olive Garden

People who complain of the crowd in AX just over exaggerate for the click bait. There was alot of people but it's not impossible to pass through the crowd. I managed to get into the lobby and got into the front of line of the lobby during day 1-4

I dont know if this is true but i heard recently that anime events have basically turned into avn/exxxotica events. Its just a bunch of girls dressed really slutty and doing weird sexual things in the crowd. Again thats just what i heard.

No, dude. There are SOME girls that dress in skimpy cosplays but 1. It's LA in the summer, shit's hot 2. You've seen anime, there are so many female characters in skimpy outfit there's bound to be a few girls that cosplay them. It's mostly just regular people & and regular cosplayers.
