This was a very interesting video Amanda. Despite the background noise it was so intriguing that I just had to keep watching. My husband and I (65 and 76 yrs) sold our big house and farm in Ontario last August. It broke our hearts as we said goodbye to our beloved 6 horses. We did manage to find a wonderful home for them all to go to where they would be kept together as a family. We had raised them from babies. From the day we listed the property for sale until we moved out was only 4 months. I had started downsizing and clearing out stuff 4 years prior, not knowing that we would be selling up. We thought that we'd live there forever. We didn't have time to breathe or think while all of this was happening. We decided to buy a motor home and go south for the winter months where we could get out of our brains and just breathe and relax for a few months. I volunteered to teach yoga at the RV park we stayed at which was amazing for me. I was able to share my yoga skills and at the same time focus on other people for a while. We've just returned to Ontario where we will decide if we are going to buy a really small house, as a base to call home, or if we will continue to explore this minimal way of life. We put all of our belongings into a large storage until we can figure out what "calls" to us. Having grandchildren, we would not want to be too far away from them. Family is very important to us. But at the same time we must remember that they have their lives to live.. We are LOVING not having bills associated with owning a home. We have found that we require very little. We have everything we need within the motorhome. Do we want to get back into regular bill paying........house insurance, utilities, buying a lawn mower etc etc. Or do we bite the bullet and sell everything which we have in storage,........Persian rugs, nice furniture etc. It's amazing how attached we become to stuff. The process of minimizing is an interesting one as it allows one to dig deep and look at what emotions and thoughts lie deep within. I look forward to following your life path Amanda. By the way, you speak so well. You are a joy to listen to.

Without those bills one does not realize the heaviness...especially things we are paying off such as car payments etc. Thank you so much for your support and comment, and how inspiring to hear a little bit about what you both have been doing!

The main thing that would prevent most people from doing this would be finding a way to make it work financially. How do you manage to fund this and what are your plans if / when the money runs out?
@lionspirit11116 ай бұрын
Hey there great question! It has been a process of trust for sure. And not always straightforward. I had savings which did run out! I was in Africa at the time, and I needed to borrow some money and it was a tough patch. After much prayer and waiting, I got a job online which I have had for the past 3 years, where I can work remotely. This has further solidified my trust that when you follow your soul, even when difficulty shows up, it really does work out in the long run. At least - this is how it has gone for me xx

@lionspirit11116 ай бұрын
Africa is a pretty special place. After visiting you resonate with the Toto song :) I was mainly in Tanzania, but visited Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Congo DRC as well. They're a ll a bit different as far as the people's dispositions. Tanzania was by far the most laid back and welcoming in my opinion. They have a lot of tourism with Zanzibar and Mt Kilimanjaro and safari, and they have the mining which boosts the economy somewhat and you can see this in the modern capital city of Dar Es Salaam which is actually a prettty cool city where I spend about 6 months on and off. Once you're out of the city, most people do not own a smartphone. It's a well to get water. It's a basic diet, spices for example are considered a luxury and I could not find deodorant or dental floss for sale. Even shampoo is tough to find. I was a few months in Mafinga town, about 10 hours from Dar Es Salaam. Many people speak a little English, and Swahili is easy to learn so communication was always fine. I had the opportunity to visi the Bushmen (Hadzabe) tribe who still live by using bow a and arrow to hunt. I found it extremely lovely. Without being bombarded with technology, no one has tvs etc, people are more in cohesion with the day/night sun/darkness for sleep... I miss it all the time xx However as a westerner it can be challenging becuase a lot of people ask for money.

Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your life's journey so far and what that means to you. For me, it is letting go and surrendering to what is. My mother passed away very recently, and grief is a process of acceptance. I realise now I need to live my inner emotional life as simply and gently possible. The spectrum of all emotions in life can be exquisitely beautiful and can be exquisitely painful too. One thing that is tremendously important to me is to be kind and loving to yourself and to everyone and everything that crosses your path.❤

Hi Amanda, it's nice getting to hear about how your NDE impacted your life. May I ask if people were offering their unsolicited advice to you before or after your NDE? If it was happening afterwards it could be because you were coming from a whole different dimension at that point. The deeper I dive into my astrological natal chart the more it tells me that I'm not supposed to listen to other people's opinions, and now you're saying it too. One thing I've noticed is that astrology and what NDErs bring back to tell us usually align with each other in pretty much every way, which I've found to be astounding. I sure wasn't expecting that. Can you tell us some more about the lessons you learned that you would not have gotten if you hadn't traveled to the places you have? I've never been on social media and I had to cancel Netflix last year. We seem to be on similar paths with similar thinking right now. I'm glad I found you. ~ 27:00 "Instead of the Universe ripping it all away from me, why don't I just detach from it myself?" -- This is profound to me because astrology keeps saying that this is what Saturn and Pluto are doing in our charts in specific signs and houses and I'm always trying to grapple with what they're telling us, but you just worded it perfectly here. I've never seen them give this advice for it before, to detach ourselves first, but that makes sense too. They usually say things like: "To navigate these potential challenges, it will be essential for you to cultivate a healthy mindset around achievement and success. Remember that setbacks and delays are a natural part of any journey, and they can provide valuable opportunities for growth and learning. Be patient with yourself and practice self-compassion, allowing yourself to embrace both your successes and failures as part of your overall growth." Which doesn't really help me as much as what you just said. I think it's that us humans naturally resist the idea of detaching from things we like or love. In fact, that sounds like we have to choose what to sacrifice in order to be happier which seems counterintuitive. It was funny that you ended up upside down once you mentioned being at the crossroads.🙃 I'm bummed to read people in the comments say they don't like the background noise. I LOVE it. You can find videos of sounds like that but I like that it was in your video at just the right volume level. To me, that's one of the OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM sounds of the universe. I thought it went along perfectly with your talk and I never get to hear those sounds naturally in my environment.
@lionspirit11116 ай бұрын
Thank you for this comment! Unsolicited advice and naysaying was generally after the NDE and it comes with the territory of seeing and choosing differently than most people. On my part, I was a bit ungrounded and going with the wind so that would be triggering and confusing to others. I was not in the same mindset. I love the angle of the NDE'er messages aligning with astrology. Although it was not part of my NDE, one of my plant medicine ceremonies had me passing through a similar vibration of my NDE and there was a theme of astrology. Interestingly, it was that specific ceremony/retreat that led to me selling the van and moving to Mexico. The astrology angle was that there was that vibration/experience of reunion with "higher forces" or soul family in the ceremony, although not as complete as the NDE but same for sure. Part of the soul family was embeded in the stars and certain soul family members were in stasis outside the physical and aligned with spots in the Zodiac. Outside of space and time. This was on the Lions Gate Portal when it's easier to connect. I was shown that the astrological transits are very real and the "beings" that we associate with the tarot and the Zodiac are not cartoon or myth figures, but some of our ancient family and alive and well, desiring to endow us with their wisdom and qualities, making themselves available at certain times. Although I am not deep into astrology, my respect and integration with it started around then. It's great you relate to the detach now before it's ripped from you. Some people take this to mean you remove a things totally like the monks. I believe that many of us need to do it this way. Instead of it becoming an ascetic and painful sacrifice though, what replaces it is pure energy, light and space. You couldn't pay me to have Netflix (as an example) now because what I have been given in my own mind and awareness is so much more satisfying, dynamic, and fulfilling. So you end up not "missing" the thing you let go of for long becuase of what you are given instead. So you are only gaining, but we are mostly too untrusting of the process until we do it successfully a few times. Then, we never would consider going back. Glad you loved the insects. I read someplace that when you slow down the sound of crickets or chicadas, it sounds like an orchestra. I will definintely put together a travel video that highlights some lessons learned.xx Godspeed

I find it to be really fascinating and comforting. How amazing and mind blowing. Thanks for answering my questions. Your experiences sound really transformational. I read an NDEr who said that he found out that astrology is more real than we know and it's actually far more involved in our reality than humans have discovered. I look forward to hearing more of what you have to say in future videos. 🌻

@lionspirit1111Ай бұрын
Hi Nika! Thanks for your comment. That's a good question.I wouldn't change my life to a normal one and go against the flow of my natural inner forces of movement for the sake of a relationship, because although it might be wonderful for a while, it wouldn't honor the parts of me that like to move in the long term. :) And that may change at some point! But it must be led by the soul.
