We loved everything there! We went coasteering, canyoning, hiking (everywhere!), and the baths in Furnas. We fell in love with the whole vibe there!

Noah, I've never mentioned this but your self-deprecating sense of humor is one of my favorite things about your vids. Hola from the Azores! Believe it or not, we have that huge bag, but had to sell our drone because it wouldn't fit haha. Lots of lenses and other crap. I won't be surprised if we start sending things home 😂

Hahahaha, the cheese in this episode making fun of instagram was awesome. Yeah, I want to get our Chinese visas before our next trip, but I don[t know much about Russian visas, I need to research that. What is the next stop?

I would suggest getting them if you have the money and time. I used to say to myself, "I never want to go to Russia, why would I ever go there". But then after our travels through China, I totally changed my tune. There's was something so fascinating about traveling through China that we didn't get in other countries. Honestly, I think a lot of it had to do with just how vast it is, and how steep the language barrier can be. It was a lot of fun going out to places that rarely see foreigners. It made me feel like I was really somewhere different. I suspect Russia will have some of those same qualities. As far as the next step, we're heading to mainland Portugal, and then we're not exactly sure after that. But the idea is to make our way towards Russia and then overland back into Asia via ferry from Vladivostok to Japan.

OH yeah, I definitely want to! Even if we don't really have plans to visit those countries, I want to at least get the visas so we have the opportunity to visit them if we decide to. I miss that, oddly enough, hahah. Probably the biggest language barrier we had was in Ikoma(between Osaka and Nara) when we stayed there for a night or two. It was interesting going to a McDonalds and Sukiya where NO ONE spoke English, and there were no English menus hahah. It made just getting dinner a huge adventure. Ooo, Portugal is gorgeous, I can't wait to see those videos! Do you know what time of year you will be in Russia? I wouldn't have the courage to visit in winter. :D I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold.

We're currently in Spain and go figure, there is a HUGE language barrier here since our Spanish isn't so great. Nothing is in english, they won't ever reply to you in English so it's made for a few "adventures" we'll be in Russia in winter, I'm a huge wimp in the cold so this'll be interesting, lol. - Lynn
