The mall is called Uptown Mall, not Megamall, and is owned by Megaworld. You just misread the sign outside. There is indeed a megamall called SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. That is the third biggest mall in the Philippines and one of the ten biggest malls in the world.

Just note that BGC is NOT in Manila. It's in Taguig which is a separate city but still within the Metro Manila region (now NCR). Manila is just one of 16 cities that comprise Metro Manila.

MANILA particularly BGC and Makati Is far better. it is well planned, very clean, safe and walkable Business district . i been in New York and it is opposite there are alot of trash, very old buildings, no green trees and not safe alot of Mass shooting i just dont know about Toronto but one thing is for sure MANILA has more tall skyscrapers than Torronto.

When you visit BGC again, the best days to go are every Friday to Sunday because they close 5th Avenue. There are activities and many food stalls or local vendors on those days along 5th Avenue near the 3D billboard. It's truly amazing. Now, there are two 3D billboards on 5th Avenue, and Arabica Cafe has just opened with a very nice interior. The best time to go there is at 5 pm. Lastly, if you haven't been to Forbes Town area in BGC, you must go at night. It's a nice spot.

I live in a similar place but in front of a beautiful beach. Imagine putting Legazpi Village Makati in front of El Nido Palawan beach. I get the best of both worlds.

as a Filipino we dont really go out without an umbrella or a cap when its 10am to 3pm, and we avoid going outside during this time. im amazed how foreign vloggers can take that heat and without sunblock at that, pls take care, cap or umbrella to avoid heat stroke or fainting due to heat. Even Kids go out at 4pm onwards unless its gloomy they get out at 2pm onwards to play or go biking. In Tagaytay City its a lil less hotter and its colder in the Philippines during December to ist week of February even in BGC, coz thats when its winter in China.

Metro Manila consists of 16 different cities, BGC is within Taguig Ciyt and next to her is Makati CIty-the financial capital district of Metro Manila. Manila is the capital of Matro Manila which a dilapidated city.

Yeah both merc and rope are too expensive and yet you also get the slums. You can search slums in both areas and there are videos of those as well. At least in SEA, you get slums but you get good price + good weather + great beaches + friendly people.
