That clip on fan......get it if you're anywhere that gets any kind of warm! Literal life saver in the summer. My daughter HATED getting even remotely warm so that was the only way we took walks in the summer!

If you plan your trip in andvance and if you have time and a friend or family member where you are heading here is a pro tip... mail as much as you can ahead of time. Atleast 2-3 weeks in advance for heavy items. If you buy stuff for the trip have it shipped directly to where you are heading. Now, if you have multiple boxes shipped directly to where you're heading you'll need to be prepared for the shipment home so here is what you do. Get these apps on your phone stat: USPS, UPS and FedEx. I tend to use UPS because they're more reliable in my area. But Why all 3, you ask? To check rates for weights and cost for shipment by speed. Also, print shipping labels and put them in sleeve protectors with double sided tape in each box you ship from home with your address on it so that you have them ready to be shipped back home. Now, when you're ready to pack things up and go home after your trip you can have USPS, UPS and Fed Ex pick up your boxes to ship home from wherever you are as long as you're still in the US. Everything can be shipped back home that way or stop off somewhere to put them in the mail the day before you fly home or something. Whatever you're comfortable with. I tend to plan for more excitement than necessary and my brother-in-law travels a lot for work so these tips are vital to living a Haimberger life. 🤣

Not all play pens are made equally; I prioritized getting one that sets up and folds up with one hand and one motion. The bag has a carry strap. It still isn't quite as fast to set up as the Pop n Go (which I also have) but I wanted a dedicated sleep space and a play space. I tend to be a fairly extreme minimalist when travelling, so I'm kinda terrified to do that first trip with a baby lol I'll forget and leave out way too many things!

Two videos in one week! Yay! I'm not even pregnant or a mom, but I'm starting to do all the research now. 😆 Did you give birth at a hospital or birthing center? And did you have a doula or midwife? I want drugs but I want the freedom to move around and do what feels right.

I birthed in the hospital. I was told to do whatever you feel most comfortable, and even though hospitals freak me out sometimes I liked being there in case I needed some thing!. I had a Virtual doula and a midwife and in order to move around you need to check with the hospital and your midwife/dr.
