Great video! When I was in Jerusalem at the time, I ate and drank deliciously there and relieved myself wonderfully! So I'm glad I was able to leave something of myself there. I'm Dutch and one of the slang words for urine is 'pies' and that sounds like peace or piece... Btw: the essence of the Christian faith is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

I lived on a kibbutz for a year in 1983/84. Loved every second of my experience. I have been on dozens of tours led by catholics, evangelicals, armenians, jews, muslims, agnostics and atheists. I have watched the guides change emphasis of history to cater to the tour group. You Oren are the most fair, knowledgable, genuine, humurous guides i have come across. Anyone you guide through the city would benefit. I have been appreciating all your hard work. Well done! Shalom

As someone with an overactive bladder, I have to find the bathroom everywhere I go so if I were traveling there, I'd certainly want to see your video! Well done for those needing to know. I wish more people would actually do videos like this. I'm so sorry Oren that a war has begun. I hope you don't get called up on the reserves. I'm sure you will go if need be but I certainly don't want you going, we want you safe. Praying you, your family and all extended friends and family remain safe. It looks horrendous already over there. My heart just breaks for all who already who have died/been hurt. I pray this ends as soon as possible and that peace returns to Israel. It's been a while since I've seen a video as I think I watched them all. Time to catch up.

I travel annually to Israel, but I once got very sick while I was there. I said, “I’m going to write a book called The Sherutim of Israel.” But of course, many people had already written blogs about them! The main thing is that they were all clean and private, much better than public restrooms in the States.
@hurdygurdyguy1 Жыл бұрын
😂 depends on where in the States and Israel...I've been to some very clean and maintained public toilets in the US and some very dodgey toilets in Israel (public and private!)

@@Travelingisraelinfo Hi, Oren! I’m going to share this video with a guy I know who is volunteering as a medic in Ukraine. When he travels and visits new places, he loves to show us the toilet and give it a rating. If you are interested in checking him out, his name is Brandon Mitchell and he has a KZbin channel. He was born in Canada but has lived on six different continents, so his accent might sound a little bit Irish, according to some people. He’s a very honest guy, but a bit unfiltered sometimes. He believes he should tell the truth, because the truth will set you free! I really appreciate him putting his life on the line to save the lives of others! The only thing about this video is you really only showed us one physical toilet, in the King David Hotel- even though you walked into or through other bathrooms. So that’s got me wondering, does the men’s bathroom only have sinks and urinals in some places, and no actual toilet where you could sit?🤔I was wondering if any of the bathrooms in Jerusalem have the kind of hole in the floor Asian style toilets, where people squat? I’m just curious! 🤷🏻♀️ But thanks for doing this video, and I especially appreciate the commentary you share along the way! 💙🙏🏽💙🖖🏼🇮🇱💪🏽🕊🪔

This was fun. When I was in Israel about 10 years ago, our tour guide asked the kids in our group to take note of the different kinds of bathrooms they encountered, how they flushed, etc. Also, I noticed that the word for שרות and שרותים for services and bathroom were related and thought it was interesting. Loved the story about the bathroom in the center of the old city. תודה רבה

Great Video Oren! I havYour refe been to the toilet at the western wall and it was chaotic. Your reference to women using the men's toilet reminds me of France. It is common at service stations in france for women to use the male toilets, men standing at urinals and women queuing behind them waiting for a cubicle. No one is bothered (except american tourists lol).
