Wow. This fella can do live commentary, ADR commentary, has jokes, makes his own custom soundtrack, is an excellent editor, sets pace well, gives good historical facts and modern critiques, and enjoys sleeping on the road? That's a lot of pros in his favor.

Robert, I enjoyed your Drive from the West video very much. You mentioned the N Rim of the Grand Canyon and actually they do have snow mobile tours in the winter to the North Rim. My suggested time to visit the North Rim though is go in late September, early October. The fall colors are just spectacular then and very few tourist. It is generally very cold in the fall though, but still worth it to me and I have visited the North Rim 11 times.

Nice journey heading back east. It's a good thing that the gunfighters of the old west disappeared a long time ago. Travelers back in the 1800s might have to contend with situations that are solved by a 6-shooter over a bad card game or someone looking the wrong way at a girl friend. Based on some books on the subject, the old west was like a John Wayne movie.

When you go back to the Vermillion Cliffs be sure to stop at The Cliff dwellers Lodge. It's so cool! Like the stone formations you saw in N. LA where they filmed Star Trek. And I would say the North Rim is 10x better than the South Rim, but you can decide for yourself.
