places most folks in mississauga are not aware of (I'm an American from NY that obsesses about culturally authentic food and have tried many places to find the best spots): -Kpocha (soy garlic/yangnyum wings, army stew, etc) -Snowies (matcha bingsu) -Casalinga (tuscan). Most Italian places are the usual Canadian Italian food. This is the closest to real Tuscan food we have. -mango rain (authentic thai, Indian) -Tony's pannini and pizza (ask for hand stretched pizza and you'll get NYC style pizza. Tony, the owner is from close to Napoli) -Pizza Nostra (they bring NJ pizza to mississauga as they are from there) -pho ngoc yen (Vietnamese) -saj shawarma (just opened. The best out there) -Mela kitchen (hakka done well) -right wingers (this one is in Oakville but closest to wings from buffalo - for the classic Buffalo from Buffalo, NY, try the Franks sauce and ask them to fry it 20 minutes to the Buffalo equivalent of extra crispy). If must be within mississauga, wingsup can get the same way if ordered the same specifics with "Louis" sauce. -hungry dragon (Chicago style pizza) -yin ji chang fen (great rice rolls and congee) -foodie north (beijing/Northern Chinese) -mad ox (closest thing to real american bbq) -john's fish and chips (best fish and chips and seafood in general although in Etobicoke and not in Mississauga, it's nearby) Thank you for introducing Adel's and Baba's. Can't wait to try them!~

@Maria gave some great suggestions! I also suggest -I heart Boba for bubble tea -lena's roti -gladiators (their veggie stuffed mushroom burger is amazing) -auntys kitchen -alf hana for shawarma (much better than any of the chain shawarmas in my opinion!)

The first restaurant Unique Malatang restaurant, there are at least 3 same style restaurants in Mississauga. Overall, Chinese food options in Mississauga are very limited. But for this point, there are more in Mississauga. I am Chinese and I have been trying very hard to find good Chinese restaurants in Mississauga since moved here.

@@TravellingFoodie so there is one at the golden square called A spicy pot. there is another in Chinese Center beside Best Friend restaurant. There are also some stores that will sell MALATANG kinda dish but not specialized in MALATANG. As far as I know, Fuji noddle house has it.

@@emilychao3298 thanks for letting me know. I just wanted to emphasize on my own selection criteria here. It was about the specialization on malatang plus doing the buffet style toppings changed by weight. So Fuji Noodle House wouldn't be considered unique nor would I call it a malatang restaurant. A Spicy Pot opened after my visit. So at that time I visited in late March, I still believe YouXia was the only malatang restaurant with buffet toppings, which made it unique. I totally understand that more had opened since my video. Not sure if you saw my most recent Mississauga video on Ridgeway Plaza but I featured one Chinese restaurant there called Sun Chinese Cuisine that's good for handpull noodles

@@nisrine5478 it is MALATANG place. It boils food after you picked the food yourself. I don't think they carry Halal meat but you can try all the veggie options and tofu options and noodles of course. It just cooks in a broth( might contain meat in the broth?) not so sure. you could ask them. They have spicy broth and non spicy broth as well. Hope it helps

Just a heads up, Meadowvale is nowhere near the city center. Especially, if you aren't renting a car. There are better hotels near the airport with better connections to public transit into the city center and there's also the Delta hotel that is literally in the city center across the street from city hall and Square One. Appreciate the info and effort you put into the video. Will definitely give these places a try!

Thanks for the inputs on the hotel! I think the hotel was somewhat convenient given the restaurants we were visiting since they were all over Mississauga. But I definitely agree that there are probably better ones in location depending where you're going. And thank you so much for watching and so glad you enjoyed it! Did you get to try any yet?
