yeah I know how you feel waiting for rain, I live in Adelaide South Australia, we don't get as much rain here than other states.... have to water my garden by a hose just to keep my plants alive....

Hi Karen.Another great update. Reese is so animated,curious.. scrumptious 🤗. Great time painting. I am going to paint my blue shipping barrel..to look like a wooden coffee been barrel that whe havd in Jamaica . Then use it to store floor clean mops, house and yard brooms so they dry in the breeze. I had same issues living with 10 wooden speaker boxes was a nightmare...but in later age he now has his own dedicated music room...I just close the door🤣🤣. I am so glad you are making friends in your community, with same interests as yourself 👍🥰. Keep the positivety going K...no day is perfect..just have to focus on the best parts.

Check with the gardeners group about a 'water-witcher' or a 'dowser'. They can locate underground flows of water. Invite one out to your property to locate a good spot for a well-driller to come and dig you a well. Then you just need pipe and a submersible pump & generator and your water worries should be over. Get estimates on the drilling. That color paint blends perfectly with the landscape.

Well done! I carry an ice cream container of paint in my left hand while I paint with my right hand. Watching you balance the ladder reminds me of trying to paint my bedroom ceilings lol plant fruit trees where the grass stays green. Means the roots will stretch down for that never ending supply of water. How did you cope with cyclone Dovi? We didn't get the wind here thank goodness.

I'm not a full fledged gardener and maybe your gardener friends would know best, but I've always been told by my grandmother never to put your plants to bed with wet feet.... Meaning don't water them at night. 😎 All the best
