Hello....I have Honda amaze 2017 pride edition model which comes with digipad 1......will this dongle ( link for which you provide in description ) will work in my car or not ??? Bcz product description has not mention any use for car....and what about CD which provides along with dangle...as there is no CD player in my car ..how it will work??

thanks for your reply. Do i have to connect the wifi everytime i start the car? Both the switches are on but when i put the digipad on the wifi signal does not show. The hotspot is on in my iphone. i have to spend about 10 minutes every time i drive out to configure the wifi.

Generally, once you connect with a WiFi network, the smartphone remembers the network and the password and connects automatically the next time. DIGIPAD too connects with saved networks. Check in wifi settings if the network is saved. Also, try the same thing with an alternate smartphone like an Android phone and check if the same problem arises. You don't have to configure wifi everytime to connect. Only Hotspot needs to turn on and Digipad connects automatically.

It will work with Digipad 1.0 version, doesnt matter which year model of car you have. Make sure you have Digipad 1 and not Digipad 2.0

I didn't understand. It works on the AVN system in Honda cars called as Digipad 1.0. If you use a wifi modem,it helps the digipad access the internet (web,) via WiFi.

You can reset the Wi-Fi modem of your home and type in new username and password. Also go into modem settings and disable wps key. This might work.

You said in your previous comment that when you try to connect the dongle from your HOME INSTALLED WIFI, it's asking for WPS pin. Hence I suggested to reset the wifi modem user name and password and disable WPS option. It's not required to connect to home wifi network. You can connect to your mobile hotspot and use it while driving.

Yes thats the problem. In some units, the bluetooth tethering is not working. And also its not a reliable method. Do buy a wifi dongle and start using internet. Link to buy dongle is in the description of the video.

There is no inbuilt wifi adapter within the digipad unit. Hence it has to use an external adapter such as a wifi dongle for that purpose.

You can connect to internet using mobile hotspot. But you need to have a external wifi dongle attached to tje usb port of digipad.

Hi. If you have a 2020 car, then you will have a Digipad 2 unit inside. That does not support internet browsing regardless of which dongle you use. In order for the dongle to work, you need to have the older version that is Digipad 1.0 in your car.

You can check your car manual book to see if it's digipad 1 or 2. But if the options are different than what I have shown, then most probably you have Digipad 2. Confirm it with your car manual book.

You can activate the hotspot of your smartphone which has 4G sim. Your smartphone creates a virtual wifi network which the digipad can connect to. This will provide internet even while traveling.

The uplink dongle which I have given link for works with digipad 100%. It has been brought and used by so many users. I can assure you it works. So do check the dongle once. Try using it in a laptop/pc to make sure it is working. Also if there is any defect, replace it.

Reduce the youtube video resolution to 144p. Make sure no other program is consuming internet if you are sharing it from your smartphone. Videos need a strong wifi connection or o hotspot of 4G+ connection to play best.

You might have installed many apps in it. Uninstall the ones which you dont use regularly and keep only 2-3 apps which are important for you. Then restart the digipad.
