Great game. Great table. Just thought I'd tell you the unit crest you used in the U.S forces break down belongs to the 66th Armored Regiment the Iron Knights. This was the first unit I was assigned to in 1987 as a young 11C mortar man. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Question. Was Andre not able to take panzerfausts with his SS? I play SS and find fausts tend to work better than the shrek.

Thanks for the game as usually. If you want to know, there are 2 rules you didn't properly use - If you embark on a transport, you can't move the transport for that turn - Not sure about the second one, but the Sherman did fire indirectly on the SS guys, where they still hidden? Because then you only hit on a 6 and don't range it.

Smashing stuff - marvellous: thank you! Also, for reference, when firing at the PaK40 (around 43 mins in), I believe that 'small target' doesn't apply to artillery units.

Been messing around with a M-5 halftrack for my Soviet Assault Engineers as having SN-42 body armor they can not run other than to assault and go into melee/ hand to hand combat. Does not matter if you run or advance with them they are only able to move 6 inches. The M-5 is a real god send as it allows the group to get to an uncontested objective quickly and become the dug in ticks since being veteran and with said SN-42 makes them have to take 6 for hits since the SN-42 adds a +1 for all HE, and small arms fire.

Fun game. Definitely like the armored company to get the benefit of transports not having to run away. They are silly expensive and I never even consider them under the normal rules. Sorry for the question, but how could the Sherman fire it’s cannon as well as the mgs? I thought it’s main gun or the mgs. Thanks
@ChrisS-fh7zt3 жыл бұрын
It's only with the coaxial, or the MG that is besides the main cannon on the mantlet. All the rest can be brought to different targets if they are in range and in the firing arc. Like the bow MG couldn't hit anything that was not in the front firing arc, but the roof 50 cal has a 360 degree sweep but using it makes the Sherman become open top if you so choose to do that. The only time it does not count as open top is if an air strike is in bound and you use it as Flak since it is pintle mounted.
