Tuki is a very soft spoken guy. I could barely hear him! Boy that paint job is definitely a late 60’s deal. Arlen Vanke (Akron Arlen) used to run Hemi Cuda’s back in 68-69 painted by Gregg. This ‘64 looked like one of Vanke’s old cars!

Great interview. Gotta like how calm Travis is. That pit is top of the food chain. Dig how the car is built, especially the seats. No denying that paint either.

Great guy. The Hess family has produced some fantastic cars over the years. When I was a kid every auto parts store and speed shop sold those steering wheels. LOL! I noticed shipping weights have changed several times over the last 20 years. Mine has changed three times in 18 years. (??) Thanks Bobby.

Mopars have their very own distinct sound. You race enough and even Ford and GM guys can tell you that’s a Mopar and not even see the car. Bought my Hemi Cuda in 1982 from the original owner before the prices went insane.

another Great interview, Thank you for sharing ! wow it turns blah blah RPM hehe, Maybe for next interview with Super Stock AH. you could talk about rule change for SS/AHemi, letting them use Rack And Pinions and ask whether or not that is an improvement long needed etc.

My only criticism here is the that car was never sold to the public back in the day with the "Nascar" Hemi.

@@daveshepherd8460 I thought that was weird too. As soon as I saw the single 4 barrel Hemi I was trying to figure out how they get to run this.

@@gregsalmon8486 The Crossram Hemi has to run SS/BA, I think they allowed this to open up competition, Jerry Stein an I have talked about this, and he feels there are some politics involved, car is fast for sure, but it is still a bracket race in the eliminations.
