I think this could be an excellent vechile. I have always wondered why Traxxas does not power more of their vehicles using their 4s vxl system. The 4s system in the Maxx is excellent. It has been a bullet proof system for me and it offers big power but also excellent throttle control. The motor is actually 6s capable so is definitely going to be a worthy competitor to the 6s Typhoon. The thing is with the Typhoon, 6s is way too much for it. It is literally uncontrollable on 6s. Traxxas 4s vxl is in my opinion one of the best systems in the market. This is going to be an excellent vehicle, mark my words

Well said, I am super excited to try one! Also thats good to know about the motor system I can imagine that it can handle a lot of power! Super excited for this VXL edition!

I think the jato looks sweet. But it is very expensive for what it is. My tlr Typhon is 6s and it is a mean machine. It is also built to last, with machined aluminum parts and chassis. I vast improvement over those plastic traxxas parts and components. I also own 2 traxxas cars a bl2s and vxl rustlers, they are great. I'm not a traxxas hater, but the arrma or team corally are better options for a 4x4 buggy

Honestly I would be super curious to know how they compared on handling. Thats good to hear about the TLR spec typhon tho cause when I was running TLR it completely failed on me. Totally agree with you tho it is very expensive!

I wish this was an actual competitive buggy platform an this has no similarities to any modern buggy

I think in the future we will see a more competitive version, after all this car has been hyped for so many years

Traxas is way better engineered.
@Harvz78Ай бұрын
@ What kind of engineering is that?🤦🏻85% of that buggy are parts from different existing product. 😂😂🤣 It’s not a new real buggy design platform but built from recycle parts. And, they will sell it for more than half of the price it cost them to produce 1.🤷🏻♂️ Complete rip-off. I know, people with deep pockets and Traxxas fanboy will not notice that or care about it.

@@Harvz78 Yeah. ARRMA doesn't share parts!

Something interesting I have noticed about owning metal driveshafts overtime is that sometimes they do need to be replaced. Most recently I changed out the front shaft on my MBX8 Eco because metal bone part was almost gone. Traxxas has made a seriously solid improvement to there plastic shafts as the heavy duty ones are almost unbreakable, and I think they would do well in the Jato 4x4.
