Hey Marc, my buddy already put a 3S system in the Jato and brought it over to my track. The thing was so fast I could not believe it. Can’t wait to see the 4S system come out.👍🏽👍🏽

Nice find on a compatible motor. I'm not fully convinced the BL-2S ESC will handle that, but if it does 👍. IMO, the Jato will handle better on a 1/10 scale track, but on a true 1/8 scale track you actually need the heavier weight outdoors to cut through wind, and the 4S power to clear 1/8 jumps. The Syncro4 is a true 1/8 race buggy-based car, the Jato is a 1/10 car sized to 1/8 buggy dimensions.

@@RazorRC Ok. I respect your opinion. But will have to disagree. With an intermediate driver the Jato will lap quicker with my setup on either 1/8 or 1/10 scale track. The BL2S esc will handle the motor without any additional cooling as long as you leave with 13t pinion. Fully tested on multiple packs. Have some faith …

Mark, that was a great informative side by side comparison. You have done a great job at a minimal cost. I agree the Handling is the key for me. You upgraded my Rustler Ultimate which is an absolute handling ripper on any surface. Very nice way of marketing and bringing in the customers for the JATO. Well done my friend! ⭐️⭐️🇺🇸⭐️⭐️

Great Video But Im Still Not Convinced. Traxxas Cars Are Overpriced and Underbuilt. The 4s VXL that will come out later that is fully built from the factory will probrobly cost twice as much. Im still riding with corally. I agree with the bad kagama tires but the radio for it is fine. The radio on the syncro is kinda crappy but most will swap radios and tires from the jump anyway. The Jato name shoulda been left alone and the bl2s version is a waste. My traxxas cars are my worst handling vehicles😂. Too much lightness from too much plastic.

Yep. You can tell in this run footage. It's bouncing and bucking around on the track. The car itself isn't heavy enough to make the suspension work. Also agree about Traxxass handling in general. They aren't great. My Xmaxx is the worst handling big truck I own. Both my big Arrma 8s trucks and the Vigilante handle much better.

@boduke9428 yea traxxas is good for beginners and building good looking show rcs. Im not against them. I just feel they want you to spend loads of money to make the car beefy enough to survive crashes. We all get bit by the traxxas bug at some point in the rc hobby.

I hate the business practice of over pricing and leaving known deficiencies that you coincidentally sell an upgrade for. Premium products shouldn't have years old, easily fixed problems. The Slash Ultimate for example. Can't run on 3s without the esc having constant thermal shutdowns. It's a cheap and easy fix that should be included for the bloated price. The new Senton has a fan just like the old one and both cost nearly half what the ultimate fan less Slash does. I feel like they take advantage of newbies and loyal customers who don't know better. I used to be one of them.

I dont agree with the comparison between the both . The syncro tires are basicall proline tires , same tread and all. Usually heavier cars handle better by default . Look at how mustangs spin outta control compared to a mopar . The traxxas might be more durable cause its light but honestly. The jato is honestly too slow for the price compared to team corally

There are a lot more of those people in the country, then an angry dudes with a KZbin channel. I’ve been in business for 20 years. These cars sell in a significant quantity. As for Mike, relax a bit. Your expensive Team Associated kit is a lot more money. Why are you comparing the two ? You’re confusing a novice car with a professional buggy that’s 5 times the price…..just found a post where you said a junk china Hosim rc car is better than a jato. That post says it all. Dude ?
