@@RCInsiders No, i don't own a mini e revo yet. I currently own a latrax teton, and Im definitely looking to upgrade soon. Probably to this, or maybe an lc racing/tacon short course truck. You should check those out and make a review video! Tacon is the sister company to lc racing, and sells cheaper rtr vehicles at the nitrorcx website. Lc racing sells diy kits, and i know there are multiple vendors, but Warren rc is the one that comes to mind. A lot of people consider these vehicles the best small scale vehicles you can get.

NICE, waiting on mine lol. got a brushless. as for the connector, it depends on what you get. they have a series and a parallel one. the series wont make your run time last longer but gives more power. the parallel one is what doubles your run time. that is what i picked up, not a hard core basher lol. just like to have fun. cant wait though for mine to come lol. got a few extras that all came. like extra batteries, the parallel connector, a charging station and the charger adaptor to do dc to ac.

Went with the XLV Rustler.....2wd....Out of box clocked it at 49mph using an iPhone placed inside body...Taking to beach next week with grandson and bought a pair of Badlands for rear, but the Badlands are much bigger so will not use as I don't have time to change gearing nor do I won't to. Everything I have read is saying the larger tires can cause overheating and wreck havoc on gearing...I will sell my un used Badlands if possible.

Hey Doug, be careful running RCs in sand. If sand gets in the tiny air holes in the rims it'll stay in the tire and have extra mass for the motor to spin. It'll kill your electronics, so just put some electrical tape over the holes. Have fun tho

Awesome Jordan. Congrats on the sweet new rig!!! The initial charge time on the battery that came with E-Revo was around 45 minutes. I bought a maxamp 7.2v 2s lipo for it and its comtrollable fast,...the went back in the house and ordered 2 more packs so that i can run 2 lipo packs in parallel for more fun,..its a toss up between my mamba 25 asssociated rc18b and this, for now,.limjust got amlosi mini t 2.0 and dynamite 6k brushless i will put in when i get my 3 chnl receiver..

Weve had it less than a week. Just bought the last 2 gen ace 2200 lipo at my hobby shop yesterday. They backordered til August. Added some zip for sure. I believe the stock gearing is 23/50, and Im thinking of going 21/22 for the pinion, though it will lose some top speed. So far holding up good. I have rpm arms coming, aluminum axel carriers, a savox servo, and a cheapo goolrc brushless to mess around with after we kill the Titan. The 1/10 esc should fit w minimal tweeks, Most 3rd party brushless motors should bolt right onto the brushed plate. We have springs compressed half way down front and back, it doesn't bottom out and handles pretty good. Ill make my vids public here in a minute

As you progress in the hobby, you will find that you will want to do upgrades to suit you. The electric sector has plentiful parts & upgrades wherever you look. The Maxx is under your budget, but after getting a battery & charger you will be slightly over. Hi, The E-Revo 1/16 would make a perfect first RC. It's fast, but mot too fast. It's a good size, but not a monster that could destroy things :) It's hobby grade, meaning most things a beginner will inevitably brake can be easily & cheaply fixed. My dad had a rc club at the school and I saw an E-revo box and said "where's that one?" My dad grabbed it and gave it to me, It has a 380 in it, pretty beat up, just hoping I can find parts. Thanks for the review! I didn't know if it was worth fixing or not. -Canadian kid

Old style radio I hate anymore, I had a Stampede with the titan 12t, the vary first run I was about 60feet from it and it lost connection and it went pedal to the metal into a giant rock, broke the bulk head and part of the chassis and even bent the pins for the a-arms, it was a hard hit.....

@@RCInsiders I had a 1/16 Traxxas rally at one time. It's the same chassis. It was difficult to drive under control. I think the E Revo brushed version with the big tires is more controllable and obviously can run on more surfaces.

I never had a rally, but I hear they were pretty cool. This E Revo has excellent control. It won't tackle terrain like the 1/10's but does really well. Let me know if you get one?

I love your vids! I've learned to make my vids by watching yours. I checked out the e-revo mini but it came with a car charger and niMh. That turned me off. Great video though!

Thanks Tommee! This is the ac/dc converter - amzn.to/3E6aHst I got this when I first started getting into Traxxas. Almost all Traxxas brushed RC's come with a NiMh battery and car charger. A little inconvenient to buy the converter to be able to charge your batteries in the home, but worth it to me as I have a ton of Traxxas NiMh batteries :) When we go out bashing we are usually out for a long time with no outlets available, so having the car charger has come in pretty handy 😃 Thanks again & all the best to you my friend. Don’t wast your money 💴 On a brushed motor do the right thing and get a brushless One/16 minni E-Revo

No RC is a waste of money! If you can afford the brushless model then go for it. If not, the brushed model is an awesome little basher. Years later & still bashing great. Happy bashing buddy!! #RCInsiders

ahh yea you be wrong.....they make two connectors.....One allows two batteries to run in parallel, allows longer run time. The other connector allows two batteries to be in series which allows car to run 50 mph or so....Get your shit straight...

@@RCInsiders I don't have anything yet,. Looking intensely for something to run on the Florida beaches. Something to entertain my grandson and the dog. Something that won't break the bank or break after a couiple runs, Revo, Rustler, Slash. 2w and 4w

@@dougs.9486 Cool Doug. Whereabouts in FL? I used to work out of the carpenters local in Orlando. Did a lot of work at Disney & out at the Cape. I would take a good look at the Traxxs Bandit. Good price and a great buggy. A decent set of paddle tires on the back would be awesome on the beach! It's been one of the most durable Traxxas RC's we have had. Look back through our "ground vehicles" play list. We have done many videos with the Bandit if you wanna check it out. Running on the beaches will require some extra maintenance. Sand can pretty hard on RC's, but with a little tlc after each bash it will be awesome!! Stop back by & let us know what you go with if you get the chance. Happy bashing my friend!!

I've definitely got the budget for this lil guy, but wanted the huge Max, now I'm seriously thinking about this one again , but maybe the bigger version because my grass is decently high. Definitely looks fast and cool for a mini

@@RCInsiders do you have any purchase links as I've been looking at many negative reviews on Amazon. I've decided on not getting the max for now due to all the comments about broken A Arms, honestly i don't see how! It's a tank! I need something that will travel easily in 3.5 inch grass or less.

@@RCInsiders I bought 3 the 1/16 revo , the 1/8 Kraton and the 1/5th Kraton my 2 favorites are the 2 smaller ones! XMAX IS WAY more durable in the 1/5th
