I got one and put same size tires and wheels as a monster jam on it 16 tooth pinion 86 spur gear and 3s lipo got 44mph only good for drag lol 8.4 v just to run around

How do I get the spacing just right, no matter what I do the gears are wayy to tight together

I was able to space it right with the current set up in this video, but I have seen people modify with a dremmel tool…

Double check everything, it should work…. Maybe you can get a little more adjustment out of it

in order for anyone to know if the information is useful we need to know if you are running the stock traxxas 12 turn brushed motor or the kv of the brushless motor if that's what you are running.....

I ran a 27 tooth pinion and 86 / gear onto 2S battery and it was wicked fast pour-wheeleys no problem only problem I had was the overheating so you could get maybe 4 swipes and let it cool

Hell ya! It’s getting cold around here, so the dragster is on the shelf for now, but I’ll be back at it in spring, I’ve been doing a lot of indoor mini crawler stuff now…
