Yeah sand dunes are my favorite terrain to run the rc cars!

@@RCKnockout we live in san diego and Joshua Tree now... but we still have a storage with like 30 cars and trucks right near where you are... keep thinking we should send you the keys and have you bash them on the dunes and make videos for us!!!

@@RCKnockout oh geez... it's a long and incredible story... involving a spouse getting schizophrenia... selling a business in Chicago and a vacation home on the water in St Joseph... helping move elderly disabled parents to San Diego... then getting in an accident resulting in paralysis from the chest down... 3.5 weeks in a coma... 3 months in the hospital... deciding to stay in San Diego... then buying a house in Joshua Tree with a friend... we just never made it back for the storage... it was easier to rebuild the collection out here... haven't traveled since the injury... 3 years now... but anyway the desert is better suited for tougher vehicles... 30lb 1/5 gassers... even 1/8 arrmas perish and don't perform well... The Sweet Spot seems to be about 15 to 25 lb for an electric with a minimum of seven scale length chassis... and tough as nails... otherwise it's a traction nightmare on thin layers of dusty saand covering slippery mountain rock... plus devastating encounters with large hidden rocks and other objects that break and bend RC parts... so now its behemoths mostly... but that collection in Bridgman has a couple badass 1/5 scales... you can see videos of them on our old channel... the coolest is the hsp king hornet brushless with 980kv 6s powerplant and Rampage MT wheels (2.5lbs each)... check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGK7k3ybqsmfZ9U kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXSZinevjtifjdk

Just placed an order for 165 euro... some 1/8tyres a 2s lipo from gens ace a 12t mod1 pinion and a servo pff thats a big hole in my bank account🤣. Gota do something 4 the hobby
