Funny I thought the lower gearing would mean more torque, was it the motor low speed the issue. It does run well but my TRX4m all I have done is add a trailer and metal hitch 🙂I'm happy with the stock gearing.

Hi Mal. The first run was with the stock gears and motor. I found it needed too much throttle for my liking to traverse over the stones, and couldn't do it as slow as I wanted. The low ratio gears did seem to give it more torque, and when I ran them with the stock motor the torque twist wasn't too bad. But it was much worse in this video with the Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster motor. Hopefully a few shock rings will help. But overall I preferred this set up and liked how it climbed in and out of the flowerbeds slowly and smoothly. It felt good to drive and I think it's the nicest small scale RC I've got now.

Thanks Fil. This TRX4-M is the best small scale RC chassis I've owned.

I was much impressed by the run - and, by the way, I love the "loading" graphics at the beginning of each run, and the bit at the very end, too.

Thanks Del. I found some new effects in my editing program 😀

@@hollyhillrc The ancient laptop I use for editing seems to be having the computer equivalent of a psychotic episode. I've been in denial about this as I only know how to use Windows Movie Maker, and if I replace the laptop I'll have to acquire and learn to use a different program. I don't want "Power Director" written in the corner of the screen but I can't afford to buy software. So I'm stuck! Can you recommend a free editing platform?
@hollyhillrc7 ай бұрын
Hi Del. I'm sorry I didn't answer your last comment on my Traxxas TRX4-M video but I've only just seen it. So regarding free editing programs, I copied some VHS tapes to my PC last week using a SilverCrest "USB video grabber", and the software disc that came with it had a an editing programme called PowerDirector 11 on it. That's an old version so I looked online to see if there was a more up to date version and the latest edition is called PowerDirector Essential and you can download it for free. I've seen "PowerDirector" written on the bottom right hand side of quite a few RC videos on KZbin so that could be just what you're looking for. This is the link for the download www.cyberlink.com/downloads/trials/powerdirector-video-editing-software/download_en_GB.html Apologies again for not replying quicker and I hope this is helpful.

@@hollyhillrc Thanks, Guy! I actually have an entire video recorded, but am unable to edit it, so for me the timing of your reply is perfect!

Excellent 🙂👍🏼 Happy I could help. I spent a whole day editing 6 hours of home video VHS footage from the 90's last week. Thoroughly enjoyable 👍🏼

We really like the TRX4-M Bronco, I am afraid we need one 🙂 with metal beadlock wheels

I've had quite a few small RC's and this TRX4-M Bronco is the best out of the box I've had so far. But metal wheels do help with the C.O.G and are a good upgrade. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍🏼👍🏼

I was wondering about the gearing. I guess a little fast? It sure is a great looking truck and I love those tires and Rims. The printed driver is awesome. Nice run as well

Hi Nick. I found the stock gears were a nice speed for trailing, but needed too much throttle for my liking to traverse over the stones and couldn't do it as slow as I wanted. The low gear ratio is probably a little too slow for most people who just want to go trailing. But I found the slower speed and more torque much better, and the Bronco climbed in and out of the flowerbeds slowly and smoothly which I liked.
