Hello doc.. thank you for your video.. If the patient has the third molars which are partially erupted /covered in the scan.. how do you extend the tray in those situations? Also when the teeth are really short, do you provide retentive attachments?

I tried to cover at least half of any tooth is exposed so you do not end up with unintended super eruption. If the teeth are significantly under erupted that is probably not a problem. But if they touch, you need to cover them so that they do not extrude throughout treatment leaving you with wonky occlusion. For patients with generally short clinical teeth, I definitely include attachments when possible to ensure that the trays will stay seated. Two can work, but I think even four On each corner is the best approach.

I'm sorry but the finishing must be on the bench with dedicated handpiece and cutters as comfort is essential for the patient to wear the masks constantly day and night

If you already know how things "must be" done, I'm not sure why you need watch my videos. And I assure you, I'm well aware of the need for patient comfort. That was more or less the purpose of this video. Thanks so much for you input. I'll take it under advisement.
