Can I get my trigger shot and my IUI on the same day? And is the success the same?

We have unexplained infertility, did blood work, ultrasound, sperm test, laparoscopie and all were good. I am 33, two years of ttc and nothing is happening. Now my Dr. Wants to do PCT test on me before planning IUI with injectables... I was wondering if this study mentioned anything related to immunological problems?! Or PCT tests before moving to IUI or IVF treatment 🤔

PCT has been proven to be useless. Don't bother doing that. If everything is normal, then you have only four choices: IUI with oral meds, IUI with injectables, IVF, or surgery which you've already done.

@@DrVictory thank you so much for the reply on my question. I was thinking the same about PCT after reading about it! Because the quality of cervical mucus can be different in each cycle. I haven't been tested for Autoimmune factors yet! When I suggested genetic test for alloimmune factors, my dr told us that he is not worried about that because that is one in a million chance... Is it necessary to do the tests to find immunological problems before moving forward with IUI?

having infertility issues I didn't know the next thing to do, After all manner of treatment from different people I was left hopeless, not until I Met Dr Ogie on KZbin he permanently cured me from infertility issues thank you Dr Ogie❤️

Why letrazole or clinic with time intcourse is waste of money and not doing anything you say 🙅‍♀️when the follicle grows to 20-21- mm and ruptured and healthy corpus leuteum is seen n ovulation has occurred with shift in temperature .... WHY is it useless without insemention and doctor clinic 💁‍♀️👩‍⚖️why timed intercourse is not going to give result

Because it is shown that with IUI you are able to bypass the cervix and have the sperm directly inserted into the uterus. Likely the unexplained infertility has to do with the sperm having a harder time getting in through the cervix. I believe a lot of unexplained infertility is related to silent or undiagnosed endometriosis and IUI is a treatment for endometriosis because the presence of it can slow sperm movement and cause anatomical changes to the fallopian tubes, and reproductive organs, lowering the chance of the sperm to fertilize the egg. So while taking the ovulation induction medication make make for good egg maturation, it doesn't do anything for the environment that the sperm and egg are in as it relates to endometriosis, which as I mentioned I expect often accounts for unexplained infertility if other immunological and blood clotting factors, genetic problems, age/ovarian reserve are ruled out.
