I spent 4 months in Trebinje this year! I always hate to leave. Feels like my home away from home, and I can go back the end of October! ❤ Edit: I see you're in BINGO! Edit Again: Trebinje is so "economical" people in Dubrovnik drive there to buy their groceries and other items as it's only 30 minutes away! Trebinje is pronounced Treh-bin-yay, with the "hard" focus on the first part. And yes, the smoking is challenging . . . 😂😷

Thank you for your comment! We can easily see ourselves spending 4 months in Trebinje ❤ It certainly has loads of charm and as you say the value is fantastic. (Yes, we were in BINGO 😋).

Summers are really hot, temperatures go from 35-45°C, which makes Trebinje one of three hottest cities in ex Yugoslavia. Trebinje has about 260, sometimes even more, sunny days per year. Winters are also worm, from 5 - 10/15°C. My beautiful city ! Thank you for promoting it! ❤❤❤

Love these kind of bridges it reminded me of the Ponte della Maddalena in Tuscany. We also love these little towns that are not so overcrowded. A view on a river, fjord or sea is always a bonus 😜 have a great time 👋

There are several bridges in Bosnia with similar architecture. Just google old bridges in Bosnia. This specific bridge, Arslanagica bridge, is one of a kind. Build in 18 century at another location, 6 km up the river in a village called Arslanagica Most, had another main function at that time - road toll collection. Bridge is L99,6xW3,6xH15 meter. During hydropower dam construction at late 1950s, this bridge has been disassembled, stone by stone, and assembled again (moved) at current location, within city area.

This video brought back memories of a bus trip to Medugorje 6 years ago. Wait patiently for every video if yours. We're going to be in Europe later this year doing a part of the Camino and then travelling a bit (not in a motorhome). So watching your videos give me ideas for future trips

Thanks! We're also looking forward getting back to Spain / Portugal region later this year. Not sure if we're brave enough to tackle the Camino though. 😋 Have a great time!

Thank you for visiting my hometown, Trebinje. I have to say that you've missed lot of things, like local food and very good vine.. But maybe next time you will took some more time for visiting interesting places here...Oh, I just want to say that the wheels by the river ( named Trebisnjica) long time ago were used for irrigation system of nearby fields, not for electricity producing, and nowadays they're used just like attractions. We call them Dolapi (Dolaps) or Kolo (Wheel)...And it's not allowed for cars to go cross Arslanagica most (ancient bridge), because it's protected cultural heritage. My town is small but it has very rich history.. Good luck on your future trips and greetings from Trebinje

Thank you for that interesting information. Yes unfortunately travelling full time we can't always see everything everywhere we go. But this is a good excuse to also have to return! Thanks for watching! 😊

Finally Bosnia video. Not because of Bosnia although Bosnia is so beautiful but because of anticipation where will you end up in Bosnia since you said you dont have time to stay too long in there. Just one tip for easier pronunciation of words in those countries: whenever you see letter J in any names or writings replace it in your head with English letter Y or I and you will suddenly sound like a local. This rule can be applied to Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia. Maybe even Slovenia but cannot confirm for sure. It is not important thing, it doesn't take away anything from your videos but it will protect your tongue from fracture. Also, there is only one way to watch your videos: first klick on like button and THEN watch the video from the beginning to the end. Strictly in this order.

Go through Slovenia while you're going through Hungary. The scenery is Alpine and breathtaking. The cities are better than Czech Republic, especially Ljubljana. You have to see lake Bled. All these places are not on the coast but at a higher elevation so not that hot in summer. Hungary is mostly flat. So it's a nice change :)

That would have been nice.. But alas we're on a bit of a schedule for the next while. And the heat is unbearable.

By the way, we visited Slovenia (Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Koper, Izola) way back in 2018 by motorhome. Plenty of cringe worthy vlogs on the channel from that time. 😂

Lovely packed video. So much to see already. We are using busses fairly regularly too, so much less hassle than finding parking in little towns and villages. Nicky gave me 'the look' when she saw your brilliant 'foot stool'! A project for another day, Keep these great videos coming guys, looking forward to finding out why your river was SO cold!

Yip, using public transport is a great way to see cities! Not only saves on the hassle of parking but it often also means leaving your van in a safer place. Good luck with the footrest! 😜

Always love the drone clips in your videos. Do you both fly the drone? Do you ever use stock drone video as wondered whether flying restrictions impact the footage you want?
@WeWillNomad
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
We try to fly where ever possible within the restrictions. We don't really take chances. For example our Serbia videos have no drone footage as it's strictly regulated. We never use stock footage. Not against it, but we haven't needed to. Unfortunately Lisa doesn't fly or drive, which limits some of the shots we can get. But we try to be efficient and fly as little as possible for the most amount of usable content and least risk. We also use a sun 249g class drone which has a lot less restrictions.

Love your vlogs guys ❤ I just wanted to let you know you should check if the tint you applied to windows is legal. I know that putting it on back windows should be fine, but passenger/driver windows are problematic. The police in Serbia used to give out fines if the tint was not factory installed or had some stupid paperwork. Also everything I said could not apply for foreigners and im just talking jibberish. 😅
@WeWillNomad
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
😆 We're taking bets for which country we'll be stopped in first about the tint. It's only 30% though and shouldn't attract any attention.

We just found your channel! 🥳 we have 2 questions: where do you dump and refill your van? Also, do you abide by the 90day passport or do you have an EU residency? Oh and one more: do you ever worry about your bike getting stollen? Incredible editing btw! 🙌🏻
@WeWillNomad
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and your comment! ❤ 1. With dump and refill I guess you mean water and waste. Water is available almost everywhere and we just make sure to fill or top up where we get a chance. We carry only 120 liters which can get us 5 days. We dispose of grey water at official points (not many in the Balkans), car wash grids or where it seems appropriate. Often our grey valve will be open for shower water to run straight through if we're in a place where it's allowed. We do not have a cassette as we replaced it with a Separett Tiny a while ago (game changer). 2. We're fortunate to have EU citizenship (not residency though). 3. All the time 😋

This video came up on my youtube feed earlier but I was saving it to watch it later, as a kind of treat, like an ice-cream or pastry ! - great intro and wonderful drone footage - I love the fact that Andre found himself lost in the tool section of that store, typical man - Drone footage of that town is amazing. - amazing bridge, wonderful views - smoking, yuk - Bosnia seems so cheap - amazing scenery on your road trip. - I'm very impressed with how you are both constantly upgrading your lovely home. Those solar strips turned out really well, hope they work. Still waiting to see the finished bathroom 🙂with the Uber cool stainless steel basin. Now I know why I saved it as a treat, guys that was delightful, thanks. Safe travelling.

We do the same with your comments - save them until later 😋😎 Thanks for the compliments. - tools..😄 I used to have a LOT of tools and I miss a proper work area.. - Bosnia is by far the cheapest of the Balkans we've been to on average. Fuel, alcohol, food the works. Although generally the whole region is great value. There's still a disconnect in general prices and what is asked at 'camp sites' though. These are mostly glorified parking with little to no service and it pales in comparison to what value you can find in Western Europe. It's often cheaper to rent an apartment than it is to pay for 'camping'. - We're still looking for an opportunity to work in a clip of the bathroom. 😄

@@WeWillNomad Sadly, I get the impression that Ireland is also a long way behind most Countries in Western Europe when it comes to well serviced, affordable campsites. And, everything here is so expensive, thanks booming economy. I would so love if local councils copped on here to the opportunities that Aires like those provided in France would open up. They would bring people to the area who will spend EUROs once they are here. One of the biggest grievances that I hear from people in Ireland is the lack of waste disposal facilities. Back to Bosnia.... These countries will either wake up to the commercial benefits of providing good facilities or not. And if they don't they will lose out on what is a growing, very lucrative sector. Stay safe guys and remember Ice Cream for breakfast, pastries for lunch, that's how ye roll ;-)
