I was 75% better. Then 2 weeks ago I woke up to blaring “eeeeeeee” that lasted 30 hrs. Then 24 hours off, repeat. Then I got 4 days of back to “normal”, then woke up yesterday morning with it blaring again. This morning back to normal. The rollercoaster has begun again.

I try to think positive, but I'm really feeling bad, going back to work and continuing life, but I can't read, watch anything without masking it, silence has gradually become a nightmare, I feel that my life has lost its charm. There are high chances of it killing me in the future. I'm living for third parties. Unfortunately, the cure is only in the distant future, until then, I don't know if I can take it.

This sounds very encouraging. My question is how tinnitus causes dizziness? I aways notice that the tinnitus gets extremely loud and suddenly I get dizzy. I have tinnitus already for years and I'm wearing 2 hearing aids.

iT ONLY TAKES 3-4 MINUTES TO CHECK THIS OUT I stumbled upon a method of using a vibrator to quiet the tinnitus. The science behind it is to transmit the vibrations along the cartilage from the external ear to the auditory nerve inside the brain. I used a small electric shaver and placed the non-cutting end to the part of the ear near the entrance of the ear canal. You will probably need to move around that area a bit until you find the spot that gives most benefits. The vibrating sound can be quite loud so don’t apply it too long. After each try, assess the effectiveness. Initially, I tried 2-3 spots for 1-2 minutes, they were not effective until I raised the duration to 3 minutes. Please report back on your experience.

I got tinnitus about a month and a half ago . I got a hearing test and I don’t have hearing loss. The first two weeks were the most horrible in my life. I couldn’t sleep. If I tried taking a nap during the day the ringing was really loud. Now for some reason it’s been getting better. Not sure if it’s due to anxiety and stress . I’ve been taking magnesium and that’s probably helping me relax. It’s still there but it doesn’t bother me like it first did. I only know I have it is because all of a sudden I’ll remember and I make myself hear it. Hopefully it’s not permanent.

This doesn't prove anything. One case where a person claims it doesn't bug him so much is meaningless if 99 other people have the same treatment and claim no benefit. We're not seeing the statistics here. And some people are known to have Tinnitus and recover for no apparent reason. We still don't know what the cause of Tinnitus is and I very much doubt Tinnitus is actually a hearing issue.
@RobertA-hq3vz Жыл бұрын
@@auto-systematic Not if it provides a false belief that this is an effective means of treatment. We shouldn't hear from the successes only; we should also hear from the failures. If 50 other people tried this and had no benefit at all then you probably would think twice about spending a year and "presumably" a ton of money taking this treatment.
@RobertA-hq3vz Жыл бұрын
@@Andrew-pp2ql Noticing that people who have tinnitus do badly on a hearing test does not automatically mean that hearing loss is the principal cause of Tinnitus. A lot of people lose some hearing as they age, and in our noisy society hearing loss to some degree is not uncommon. So the correlation between the two may be false. I myself, noticed immediately that trying to give a hearing test to someone with Tinnitus is pointless. The test tones are quite small and can often be at the same frequency as the screaming you have in your ears. If people miss those tiny test tones because their Tinnitus is swamping the test signals the doctors immediately claim you have hearing loss and that it's the reason you have Tinnitus. I passed my hearing tests, but it was a struggle as to determine what was a test tone and what was Tinnitus Ringing. I thought it was funny that they put me in a sound proof booth. Did they really think it would quiet the screaming in my ears so that I could take a fair hearing test?
@RobertA-hq3vz Жыл бұрын
@@auto-systematic its not about the money, its about truth, and logic, and science. None of us wants to waste time on something that doesn't work. What's even worse than that is that if there's a false assumption that tinnitus is a hearing issue then all doctors will ignore your symptoms and just proscribe audio treatment, without any benefit. In recent years I've discovered, to my dismay, that doctors are brain dead. They believe what ever they've been told in medical school or by the latest sales rep and there's no getting them to change their minds, regardless of the symptoms you have. I mention the money issue because this video has all the appearance of a sales pitch, "come to my practice and get treatment, see this fellow who happily reports 75% success, so come one, come all".
