Today I’m taking the world’s most luxurious river cruise for 72 hours from Budapest to Vienna. This is the Riverside Mozart and I’ll show you exactly what it’s like onboard. What I like about river cruise is not really about the cruise itself, but rather the fact that employment on river cruise is a lot more reasonable comparing to cruise ship. Usually river cruise need to pay a reasonable and competitive wage in comparison to local area instead of high sea cruise, which exploit human resource as much as possible.

There's always room for truffles!!! As much as I love the ocean, I think I would much rather experience a river cruise than a regular cruise. That pop up bar on the roof was so cool, and the seating was quite pretty. I'd love to sit up there with a drink and watch the beautiful little European towns go by. I loved that smile on your Dad's face when he took that first sip of negroni. I'm so happy that you got to take him with you for this. I'm sure he absolutely loved it!

I think the time of year defo does not help it, park season for river cruises tends to be further summer, when it’s just a little warmer. Also even for such a big river cruise, it won’t ever feel massively full, especially with so many different areas to dine, and relax in, compared to a normal cruise ship.

This is probably the first riverboat cruise I would ever consider. Some videos show the horror stories of riverboats docking side by side and having to cross through another bot to get on land. As was mentioned, with the wider beam you have a more stable and restful trip. Great food, amazing scenery, and wonderful to see your dad again. @@jimwilson2222 Yes, people with disabilities having to cross over one or two boats to make it to land so the can visit a city. Furthermore there have been problems with boats trying to leave port but they are trapped in because of other riverboats moored against them.

It looks like this was a "rehearsal" cruise, where they go through a dry run of an actual cruise with just a few press on board. They do this in order to work out any kinks in service prior to hosting full-paying customers.

Looks great but €5000+ per night? Not seeing it. It is a great looking room and it all seems very nice. But not that nice. Also, at that price, I would be offended paying extra for room service and top shelf drinks. At €5000+ per night you should not be nickel and dimed for extras.
