You've taken it to a new level. And making your companion an integral part of the video was spot spot spot ON. I think like Jeb Brooks' video series the addition of his wife to the travel adventure just adds immensely to the enjoyability communicated in a travel vlog. The NASA pin was a spot on touch. As a person who works in America's space program, I can't tell you how honored I am to see our effort appreciated world wide to the point where other nationalities want to wear our colors. I hope we continue to live up to your appreciation, and ..... Here's to to the UK becoming a large space player too. I want to wear your space agency's logo. You know road tripping would also be a great travel vlog. Motor trips across the UK, USA, Norway, Germany, Poland ...... Ukraine. Would be AMAZING if done Trek Trendy style.

I have just found this video, very interesting, thank you. My family restored the marquetry on the British Pullman and the Northern Belle amongst others and it is lovely to see it in situ after 'helping' as a young child during the restoration in the 80's. A family firm started by my great grandfather, it was my grandparents, parents, uncle & aunt who completed this amazing work for these trains, and the work doing marquetry & parquet flooring as well as working with tortoishell saw panels & furniture sent all over the world. As for the Titanic, we're not sure. There was marquetry on the Olympic, but sadly, nothing written down that specificically depicts the Titanic.

Hey i used to work onboard the Northern Belle which is like the twin sister to the Pullman, they often docked in the same yard in Carnforth. If you are lucky enough to spend time on one of these trains just know that on the train i worked on they have 2 waiting staff managing an entire cabin of up to 40 people, that's setting the table, washing an polishing all the silverware, plates, glassware, dressing the tables, serving food and drinks, doing this all over again during the visitors day trip as well as endless other things. I often slept on the train woke up at 5am and went to bed at 1am being a waiter. Unfortunately the managers (the guys in tweed jackets who swan down the aisle a couple times during the entire trip) run down the train as the waiters help the customers off the train and take all the tips 'to distribute evenly', they basically took the lions share. So long story short if you appreciate the waiters hard work, just shake their hand at the end and pass them the tip yourself because if you leave it on the table, the guys in tweed you saw once the entire journey will take it for themselves... Even though their wages are around 3-4 times higher and all they do is just sit at the front of the train all day on their phones.

As a boy in Woking, Surrey in the 1950-s, I used to collect train numbers. I'd buy a platform ticket and spend hours on the platforms recording the different trains, (All steam in those days) and the highlight of my day would be when the Bounemouth Belle, or the Devon Belle came roaring through the station. There would first be a warning over the tannoy to stand well back on the platform and my eyes would immediately rivet on the distance. The train would appear, small at first, getting swiftly larger as it quickly rushed towards me. As it thundered through the station, you could catch glimpses of the interior of the carriages. The noise and smoke and rushing air as it passed was amazingly exciting as it quickly disappeared down the track. My favourite was the Devon Belle, because it had a large observation car at the end of the train. I always dreamed of one day travelling on one of those trains, but never did, so thank you for showing me what it would have been like. It has brought back so many memories of my youth and now I'm 87, I can indulge in a bit of yesteryear nostalgia and bore my Family with Dad and Grandad stories. They will be pleased:-)

What a great train and it is wonderful that these historic coaches still make regular mainline trips. There are a couple of similar coaches on the Bluebell Railway for a more modest fee. The one thing that is better about the Bluebell offering is that it is usually steam hauled. I just feel that a steam locomotive at the front of that train would just have made that experience completely perfect. Either way, your trip back home at the end of that must have been one hell of a bump back to reality!

I loved watching your series - I like the British Pullman and we can do this at home - have a nice dinner and tea - good for retired ones as well.
