I love Trench as a whole. Chlorine, Morph, Levitate, Legend, and Pet Cheetah are some of my favorites. The last bit of Neon Gravestones hits me hard everytime, just thinking about my grandparents. The same thing happens with Legend, which reminds me sooooo much of Vessel in the best way. I wanted more screams from Tyler, but i'm fine without it. Cut my Lip, The Hype, and Leave the City were okay. Jumpsuit, NATN, Smithereens, and Bandito were great. Neon Gravestones is gorgeous in every aspect. My Blood could be popular, even though it's an okay track imo. It's probably their second best album, with Vessel remaining my top (hehe) pick.
@TVFlix10 ай бұрын
Whatever you get out of it is good for you, not trying to take that away from you. However, those lyrics are not meant to be remembering your elders or people who have passed. The song is about his own potential suic!de. It's kind of like his internal thought about what if he did it. When he says that at the end about grandparents or someone of age he means these people obviously had struggles in life also but they kept at it to get to the age they are, and to celebrate that and celebrate life.

Still too soon to predict if Trench will meet the success of Blurryface, but in terms of music this album is far ahead of anything they put out in the past in every aspect. They kept the Twenty One Pilots sound but improved it into this very mature sound. There's musical brilliance in this, they truly undone themselves. All of the songs are different from each other, but somehow they managed to keep all of them tied together, so it sounds as a proper album. And the production is just amazing, from the main instrumental parts to all those little details. I feel like that they finally found out what they really want to do with their music....or more like they finally found out how to do it. Because that was my biggest problem with their previous albums. There were songs that really followed their vision of the sound, but then there were songs which just fell flat, because they didn't know how to execute it well. But now with this album they truly knew what they were doing and it paid off, because there's not a song I didn't love. Yes, love. For the first time I can say, that I love every song from TOP album. It became easily one of my favourite albums.

I think its more about how mental issue affects those who really have it. That others should not fantasize having it. And to people who really have it to be strong. To see what's beyond and that they deserve to be alive. That there is sadness and depression is like wanting to live but your brain just wants to end everything.

Blurry Face honestly made me liked the band more, I was worried that Blurry Face was TOO big of an album to kinda make the next album not all that good, but honestly, this album exceeded my expectations. It did what it had to do. Lot of bands usually come short right after making a big hit album, but tøp pulled it off.

Twenty One pilots arent' just a band to me. there lyrics help me through so much. one day i was thinking about ending it all i had all i need... and then me and my parents went to wall mart and i was just finding out about Twenty One Pilots. and i had some money to blow so i went to the CD isle and i vessel caught my eye. i bought it and took it home. i was writing my suicide note wile listening to it then, Truce came on. and ill never forget this. When he said "Stay Alive, Stay Alive for me" i felt like he was speaking to me and i ripped up the note and started crying. You may not understand and i don't either, but i had a sudden change of mind. its my favorite song by them. and now i always say Stay Alive to everyone and at the end of my videos man. They saved my life, Ill forever be a part of the clique. ll-// Love you all never take your life, cause people care about you i promise i love you all. I hope my story can help some of you.
