This is insane! Great flying! I have a VR Flight sim also. I have some questions: What is your graphics card/pc Set up? Which VR Headset do you use? What do you use to record this footage? What are you Flight Sim graphics settings? Thank you!!!

Looks like you added flaps too fast, above the white tape, is that acceptable for the plane you're in?

Thanks Trent butt what is ballooning and what causes it?
@trent_dyrsmid
@trent_dyrsmid 10 ай бұрын
Ballooning happens when the pilot pulls back too hard during the round out. As for the numbers, they just are that.
@pfv3462
@pfv3462 10 ай бұрын
@@trent_dyrsmid Thanks I had this suspicion and thought my landing speed was still too high.
@trent_dyrsmid
@trent_dyrsmid 10 ай бұрын
Excess speed will definitely contribute to ballooning. Ideally, you want to be hearing the stall horn as you were putting the wheels on the ground, because if you are, there is no energy left to go back up in the air.

@@trent_dyrsmid thanks for the reply How much throttle should I remove when landing? To be able to make a go-around if the landing is not safe with a C172?
@trent_dyrsmid
@trent_dyrsmid 10 ай бұрын
The answer to your question is not a specific amount of throttle, per se. It’s just whatever is needed in that particular situation.

This is a duplicated message from the corporate contractor video: I am 16 currently and going to be going to destination 225 program at 18. I would like to change this for contract piloting as entrepreneurship sounds amazing. Do you think I should keep this program as I will haft to go to corporate as part of my airline journey or is there a cheaper more effective way to become a contract corporate pilot. What should I do if i do want to be a contract pilot?
@trent_dyrsmid
@trent_dyrsmid 11 ай бұрын
You are probably going to have to either fly the airlines first to get the requisite experience, or do a lot of networking and hope you can luck into an opportunity in the right seat and then grow from there.

Hey Trent, I’m looking to become a pilot as quickly as I can. This summer I will be working road construction to help pay for it. I was thinking of doing all my tests before this summer to get them done. After the summer is over I would start my pilot training. Would it be a bad idea to take a ~5 month break from passing my tests to when I start actually flying?

Hey Trent, Great video as always! Question - Who did you talk to when you set up your training to get 2 flights a day? My goal is to get 6 ratings/certificates in 60 days. I have all my requirements met but need to get current and do check ride prep for IFR and COMM then right into the 10 day CFI and on etc.. 53 here and career 2.0

Thanks for watching! The school that I attended does not want me sharing their name on my social media because every time I do their phone explodes. They have no interest in training private pilots. The only thing that they really want to do is provide accelerated training for CFI and multi engine ratings. So…to help my viewers find a school that does want to train private pilots, I’ve just formed a partnership with a terrific school in Arizona. You can watch a video about it here flywithtrent.com/flight-training-in-mesa/
@joeboles3701
@joeboles3701 11 ай бұрын
I was thinking of accelerated instrument training with you since I already have all my IFR requirements met then going to Venture West Aviation in Mesa to fast track to CFII. I called them and they will not allow any pilots to go to their flight school if they have more than their Private Pilots License. They said they want to be the ones to teach approaches "their way". They also do not allow individual ratings.. they only offer Zero to Hero for $100,000?! I like how you did it fast and under $50,000. @@trent_dyrsmid

Hey Trent, I’ve just decided to become a pilot, 17 years old in my final year of high school. I plan on taking a gap year. Should I start flight training in my gap year, during my 3 year university course in aviation or when I’m finished?
